I have used these Hollow Ground Pruning blades blades in my Recip. saw for years doing tree and shrub pruning, they cut fast, smooth and easy. I tried the newer version with the the Carbide tips and they are awful! The carbide tipped pruning blades grab instead of cutting which is very hard on my hands and arms and they do not cut as fast. Unfortunately the hollow ground pruning blades are not a available at my local Home Depot store, so I have to order them online.
