I’m a Youth Sports Photographer. I print on the spot. My original work flow consisted of 2 printers. (epson 860 and epson 837) I took this ds40 printer out for a test run a week ago. I shot 6 straight games in the blazing sun. 27 to 35 (4×6)images on the table for each game. I was 100% shocked at the result. (Speed/Quality/and Not one issue). These 6×8 prints look substantially larger than the 5×7 and it is the largest print alternative with this printer. It can also be used for 4×6 prints and there won’t be any waste if printing in pairs.

I’ve owned the DNP printer for several years and it’s proven to be well worth the price. Printing proofs from your desktop in seconds has great advantages. The average person would not be able to tell the difference between these prints and professional print services. The DS80 pack lets you switch back and forth between 8×10 and 8×12 with ease. Cost per print is very reasonable. I’d buy this unit and the print supplies again in a heartbeat.

This prints 4×6 photos in about 8 seconds with my photo booths. With the addition of the 2 cut (printing two photo strips and cutting them automatically) this printer is a must. I’ve never had an issue with either of my DS40’s and I highly recommend. It’s on the heavy side but I think that’s a common theme with Dye sub printers.

I’m a full time photographer. Is use the DS620 for on-site printing with corporate clients and in my photobooth operations. This is the media (paper + ink) that is use the most. Good stuff for 2×6 strips or 4×6 prints. Pro Tip: if you change one (paper or ink) because it ran out, change both. It will save you down time and keep your operation running with fewer interruptions.
