The quality is good, but the price I feel is a bit expensive. I operate a photo booth and use this DNP 620A as my printer. I do get a lot out of the two rolls that come in the box. I do waste quite a bit of paper though but I think that is the printer and not so much the paper.

After discovering that this is a regularly stocked item, we have dropped our previous supplier completly. It cost a little more through B+H, however, the consistantcy of ordering, availability … makes up the difference.

Bought this one after buying two DS40’s. Great colour, fast, very robust build, easy to load, all good. The new Mac driver works with OSX 10.8.5 Mountain Lion, but it is a bit finicky. But you can get it to work with Lightroom and other applications. Great product.

We are transitioning from using Sony UPD printers which were much slower, bulkier and just all around a nuisance to use due to its SCSI cables causing us to need adapters for newer computers and laptops. The previous print time was about 90 seconds using our old printers and the new DS-80 has more than cut this in half at a wonderful 30 seconds per print. We have had issues obtaining the paper needed for the Sony printers due it being discontinued and often had issues with colors not printing as we expected. We could not be happier with this purchase. I agree with the reviews that can be found on the listing for the printer itself. Nice little compact sub printer. Most affordable 8×10 printer on the market currently. Not sure if it was suppose to but my kit came with the paper catcher so kinda sucks I bought an extra one. Fan seems to run non stop and noisy, but every time you turn it on it wastes 8 inches of paper (there is extra paper on the roll so thats not a major issue). The fan is loud enough though to warent turning off if not printing in the next hour or so.

Of course the paper and ribbon always is the best from B&H. The only issue is on the picture on the web site there is an A after the stock number on the box. We questioned it by chat and the person on line did not see an issue with it but different number, different item in my book. When the product arrived that A was not on the box. Picture is a bit inaccurate!
