Love the DNP 40 printer and have been using it for a few years. I buy 5×7 paper and always had 2 rolls of 200 to equal to 400 prints per box, I ordered the same this past week and when I got the box it said there is 2 rolls of 230 to equal 460 prints. Looking at the picture in the preview for the product it reflects the 400 prints per box, what I’d like to know is if I buy this again will I get the box with 400 or 460? Reason for asking is because we’re calculating per print pricing and with 60 extra prints might not seem like much but it helps our bottom line when print cost are a bit less per cost.

The DS80 gives the great print quality I expected from a dye-sub. Color is good and the print clarity is outstanding. I had a minor example of the dust problem mentioned. Simple fix to clean it and the problem has not reoccured.

Paper and ink worked fine. Does not come with spacers needed to use with printer if you don’t have them. Paper roll will move when printing but will still work. Margin will move.

We use this paper and ink set for photo shoots at our boutique on a daily basis. This consistently produces professional quality prints and is easy to install. It takes the guess work out of when to change ink by providing a cartridge to use hand-in-hand with each paper roll! Ordered this printer for event photography. Faster than any ink jet that I have used. Colors are correct and rich. Built decently tough and heavy but not as much as some printers of this type. Cost is expensive but you get what you pay for in dye sub. Still less than past high speed printers and not as bulky.
