We use this media at one of our photography concession sites. Good, clean, fast printing with no hassel. After discovering that this is a regularly stocked item, we have dropped our previous supplier completly. It cost a little more through B+H, however, the consistantcy of ordering, availability … makes up the difference.

These 6×8 prints look substantially larger than the 5×7 and it is the largest print alternative with this printer. It can also be used for 4×6 prints and there won’t be any waste if printing in pairs.

I’m a full time photographer. Is use the DS620 for on-site printing with corporate clients and in my photobooth operations. This is the media (paper + ink) that is use the most. Good stuff for 2×6 strips or 4×6 prints. Pro Tip: if you change one (paper or ink) because it ran out, change both. It will save you down time and keep your operation running with fewer interruptions.

We are transitioning from using Sony UPD printers which were much slower, bulkier and just all around a nuisance to use due to its SCSI cables causing us to need adapters for newer computers and laptops. The previous print time was about 90 seconds using our old printers and the new DS-80 has more than cut this in half at a wonderful 30 seconds per print. We have had issues obtaining the paper needed for the Sony printers due it being discontinued and often had issues with colors not printing as we expected. We could not be happier with this purchase. Love the DNP 40 printer and have been using it for a few years. I buy 5×7 paper and always had 2 rolls of 200 to equal to 400 prints per box, I ordered the same this past week and when I got the box it said there is 2 rolls of 230 to equal 460 prints. Looking at the picture in the preview for the product it reflects the 400 prints per box, what I’d like to know is if I buy this again will I get the box with 400 or 460? Reason for asking is because we’re calculating per print pricing and with 60 extra prints might not seem like much but it helps our bottom line when print cost are a bit less per cost.

The DNP printer is a step above the Snaplab printer. The upfront cost is more but you will save money with the paper in the long run. The quality of the prints is also a significant jump. The highlights are less likely, to wash out becoming muddy. The paper feels to be a heavier stock and the printer is fast!Please note, if this is the first time ordering the 5×7 printer paper, you must order the DNP 5 x 7 Print Spacer for DS40 Digital Photo Printer for $ or you will have jerry rig the roll to make it all work. These are two plastic reels that you put on each end of the paper roll to make the paper fit properly into the printer.
