Ordered this printer for event photography. Faster than any ink jet that I have used. Colors are correct and rich. Built decently tough and heavy but not as much as some printers of this type. Cost is expensive but you get what you pay for in dye sub. Still less than past high speed printers and not as bulky.

Of course the paper and ribbon always is the best from B&H. The only issue is on the picture on the web site there is an A after the stock number on the box. We questioned it by chat and the person on line did not see an issue with it but different number, different item in my book. When the product arrived that A was not on the box. Picture is a bit inaccurate!

I’ve owned the DNP printer for several years and it’s proven to be well worth the price. Printing proofs from your desktop in seconds has great advantages. The average person would not be able to tell the difference between these prints and professional print services. The DS80 pack lets you switch back and forth between 8×10 and 8×12 with ease. Cost per print is very reasonable. I’d buy this unit and the print supplies again in a heartbeat.

Not much to say. This is the 8×10 paper for the DS80 printer. High enough quality for most budget studios and on sight printing needs.

The printer was easy to install on Win 8. The initial prints were horrible since we are accustomed to working with Epson inkjet printers. After a lot of tweaking and monitor adjustments, the prints are of professional quality. Excellent color depths however you do sacrifice whites due to paper emulsion not being as bright. Turn the printer on and it is ready within seconds. Prints come out in 30 seconds, cut and ready to deliver.
