We have an older incontinent dog that needed to be confined to the kitchen when we are not home. These tall gates work perfectly and look very nice for a reasonable price. My mom called them “fancy.”The only drawback for us is it must be raised off the floor so our cat can get underneath to get to the litterbox downstairs. It took a week or so of tripping over the gate before we got used to stepping over it. Very sturdy, good looking, tall, easy to install and use, secure. A winner!!!

Great product well made. Use it as a doggy gate for three schnauzers. Easy to open both ways. Particularly like the stay open position feature. Only drawing back is when you have a slanted (not vertical) baseboard. It was very hard to tighten the flat head fixture against the wall for positioning the lower section of the frame. I screwed down the enclosed positioning cup into the baseboard to make do. I would design the place of attachment for the lower frame about 2 to 3 inches higher than the current design so that it would attach to the wall and not the baseboard. I have had the same problem with other gates. I suspect this is a common problem with the many baseboards available.

I purchased this security gate to keep my two puppies secured in the laundry room. So far it’s worked great. It’s tall enough that they don’t try to jump over it, and it’s metal so they can’t chew it up. In the daytime I keep the gate open with a bungee cord and at night when i’m sleeping I know that the puppies are safe and secure. I wish I had purchased this sooner.
