The Dreambaby Standard Height Chelsea Auto-Close Security Gate with Smart Stay-Open Feature is perfect for parents who need functionality in addition to security. This gate features a unique Magnetic Locking System that will ensure the gate closes automatically and securely from any distance. The Smart Stay-Open feature holds the gate door open and is perfect for when you need to move freely through the barrier, such as when you are carrying groceries or clearing the table. With simple, tool-free, pressure-mount installation your gate will be up in minutes. Once the gate is installed, the EZY-Check color indicator takes out the guess work by showing a green tab when the gate is locked and properly installed. This combo pack includes one Dreambaby Standard Height Chelsea Security Gate and two 3.5 in. extensions. Versatile indeed, it will fit openings of 28 in. to 32 in. on its own or with the included (2 x 3.5 in.) extensions; it can be increased to fit up to 39 in. The gate answers my needs –I live in a assisted living facility and I need to keep my dog within my patio, away from other residents and visitors. This product serves that purpose but the screw pads that fasten it to the wall are not any good. They do not remain tight and certainly not secure.

It looks nice and solid instead of temporary, even though it is not permanently attached (I appreciate not having to damage my wood trim). The latch is simple to use and we all adjusted to it quickly. Overall a good product, though it seems a little pricey to me.

Using this as a dog gate to my upstairs area. The dog can’t get through, but all my kids can just fine.The construction is solid and it works flawlessly. It is desgned to allow holding cups to be installed in studs, but I am using a more temporary installation using the cups on wood blocks to allow for movement.I would recommend this cost effective gate for anyone.

I use the Boston Magnetic auto-close security gate and it works great. The auto close feature is great but the gate is overall very sturdy. I had closed the gate before and my little one tried to push it open and can’t. The lock is tight and secure and my little one can’t open it. As for adults, it’s pretty easy to open with pushing and lifting up the gate. I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to install baby gate. Did not need to install any hardware into the walls first – thank goodness! Simple to use with one hand. Kids can’t open as you have to actually lift the gate after using latch. So kids just pushing on or trying to climb the gate is not going to make it come open. Happy with my purchase so far!
