   These magnetic locks are excellent. They install with sticky tape to the inside of you cabinet and door and securely keep cabinet doors closed. We use them to keep the baby out of the cleaning supply cabinets. They’re easy to install and use and are much easier to use than the clamps.

   I applied these to a bathroom cabinet. The cabinets are thick solid wood, and the magnet had no trouble reaching through the thick wood. In fact, the magnet could open the lock even when about 1/2″ in front of the door, as shown in the picture. I applied the locks with the adhesive, and waited 48 hours before testing the locks, as the instruction stated. I found the adhesive held okay, but not securely. I could have pulled the door open because the adhesive started to separate from the door lock when I pulled on it. For long term, I think using screws to make a more sturdy application would be better. Installation was fairly easy. The included template was very creative and helpful in getting the lock and catch lined up correctly. I also liked that you can turn the locks off if you don’t want them engaged for a while; allowing flexibility in their use. Most cabinet locks don’t have this flexibility – once they are installed, they are always in use. Overall, great product that I’d recommend to others.

   Things have changed a lot since I had my first baby over six years ago! Having a new baby seven months ago, I was literally shocked at how much things had changed in such a short amount of time! It was like having a kid in another generation! I love that things are constantly changing and improving, especially when it comes to the safety of my baby. Dreambaby Adhesive Mag Lock takes safety to a whole new level. We bought a new house after having our first two babies so this house needs to be baby proofed. This time though I’m going to do it right! I’ve realized that not every single cabinet needs to be childproofed, just the ones that have things that could be of danger to him. We destroyed our first kitchen cabinets by screwing in the child locks to every single one. Luckily, this set comes with the option to JUST use the adhesive. It comes with screws if you want to go that route. It’s always nice to have options. I installed the first lock myself on the cabinets that are underneath the kitchen sink. It has some cleaners and things I don’t want Jax getting ahold of. Jax is seven months old and crawling and starting to open and close doors and drawers so it’s time for the child-proofing! I read the directions through first and it took me a few minutes to figure out how everything went. Thank goodness for diagrams with pictures! I’m definitely a visual person. I first attached the Catch portion on one side and then used the included Template to set where I was going to install the Locking Mechanism. It did take me quite a while to do the first one but once I figured it out, I did my two bathrooms pretty quickly. The thing I like about this is that nothing is seen from the outside and it doesn’t have those annoying things that catch when you try to open the cabinet and always inevitably break or stop catching. This is a much more sturdy set and doesn’t have the same wear and tear by repeated jerking on the bar part of the typical set. I don’t see these ever getting worn down enough to break and stop working. To open you just place the “key” against the outside of the cabinet and presto, it releases the lock so you can open it! Magical! As far as the key goes, I see that as the one drawback. What if you lose the key? A regular maginet won’t work and I don’t know about you, but keys have a way of getting lost in my house! Luckily it does come with a little hole in the key so you could put it on a ring. I put a ring on mine and hung it from something on the fridge. The problem is I also put these in my two bathrooms. I think it’s better to get separate sets for each room if you’re going to do multiple rooms so you don’t have to carry a key from room to room when you just want to get something real quick. As I mentioned earlier, I love having options and this does have the option to leave unlocked if you choose if baby is at Grandma’s for the weekend OR if Grandma chooses to use these at her house when baby is visiting. There’s an easy check indicator with red and green lock images to easily see if it’s locked or not before closing. I love these new Dreambaby Adhesive Mag Locks! They are so much better then the old kind we used to have! My husband was actually excited to see how they worked because he was dreading doing the child-proofing for the second time around!    I liked that the product was a very easy install and easy to use without to easy for toddlers to figure out. (sneaky 🙂 The keys are just right to not be so easy to use. My daughter couldn’t believe it when she tried to get in the cupboards and they weren’t so easy to open anymore. Guess I am the sneaky one now.

   I’ve noticed my liquer bottles getting low (around the time my kids have friends over), & my sister gave me a set of these things (she has a real little one). Once installed, I haven’t had another issue. I even bought another set for a few other areas around the house.

   I love this baby lock. It’s very useful for parents like me that suck at drilling holes and trying to level things out. I love that it came with a useful little sticker guide. Only downfall is that if you have a painted cabinet it kind doesn’t stick to well unless you put a whole lot of pressure on it.

   I used this in my kitchen where i store my pots and pans my daughter has a habit of taking pots and pans and hiding them around the house but this item works so good my daughter tried getting in my cabinet for a week before she gave up. I definitely recommend.

    I received the Adhesive Mag Locks free through the Viewpoints sampling program, this is my own honest opinion. These locks are the best! The installation is extremely easy and doesn’t require any screws or tools, the adhesive tape allows for a quick, easy, and damage free installation. They are very easy to open by using the magnetic key over the lock and it has a self locking mechanism that holds the door closed tightly to keep your kids safe. It also offers an option that allows you to stop using the locks and has a red and green light so you are able to tell if the safety locks are on or off. After using these locks I don’t trust any other locks to help keep my family safe.

    I love these locks, we have installed them on our cabinets all over the house. The best part is that i don’t have to keep them locked when our grandson is not there. Which is a definite plus in my book. Would highly recommend these locks.

    • The Adhesive Mag Lock are great and the most important thing that helps me protect the safety of my baby. Compared with other types of locks these are easy and quick to put on. • I am fascinated with the Adhesive Mag Lock that I already buy to use at home. So I recommend them to protect the safety of their babies. • The truth was that I did not know Adhesive Mag Lock until I used this sample in they are excellent. • If you have babies at home I highly recommend Adhesive Mag Lock remember that your baby’s safety comes first.

    I received this product free of charge and I I really like it. The biggest thing for me is that you don’t have to ruin your cabinets with screws; however, they give you the option by providing screws if you need them. We have actually opted out of buying the ones with the screws because most of the time it doesn’t fit the cabinets we need them for and we waste our money. The adhesive ones are nice because once our child is old enough, we can remove them without any harm or mess done to our cabinets. Thank goodness for visual instructions because I honestly think those written ones are a bit hard to understand (it could be because I am pregnant now….baby brain). But I managed to get both of them on our kitchen drawers where we have utensils and knives. They seem sturdy enough and it looks like the adhesive is strong enough to outlast my 3 year olds strength. The only complaint I would have is that it only comes 2 in a package and is $20. That is a bit expensive for just two of them; however, safety is number one so I would buy them to ensure my child is safe. Other than that I am a huge fan 🙂

    I have a two year old and have several different kinds of locks/security type things to keep my daughter out of cabinets, drawers, etc and each work in their own way. These Dreambaby Adhesive locks are no different. I like that there is an adhesive option (many products only offer one way to install). However, I will say the adhesive doesn’t work all that well. They fell off within a matter of days, especially if was a cabinet that had frequent use. I love that they can’t be seen externally. This works great if you don’t want your home to look like it’s be covered in baby locks. With many other locks, this is not they case, they show on every cabinet and door they are on. They were pretty simple to install on the cabinets, the drawers seemed a bit more difficult, but I did manage. I will say that some of them worked better than others, I don’t know why. If my daughter pulled hard enough, she was able to get a drawer or cabinet open, but others she wasn’t able to get into. I had not heard of this product before I received a sample to try in my home. I don’t know if I would buy or recommend right now. However, if some of the kinks were worked out, I certainly would.

    This product was fairly easy to install. My son has not been able to get into any of the cabinets I used it on easily opens when I use the key. This is a great product for the price, Most others I have tried opened too easily and my son could get in just as easily as I could. I would recommend this to all my friends with youngsters. This lock really does what it is ment to do, Keep babies out and adults easy access! 🙂 The only con it had for me was the tiny screw’s, really easy to loose when they are tiny. I received this product free of charge.

    I loved this product. It was so easy to install and then use that anyone could use it. I have always used those other products for cabinets but once I used these, I will never use anything else. The instructions were easy to follow and made installing it very easy. I had no problems using them. My 4 year old could not get into the cabinets, which I was not using these for but have a 2 month old that is coming up. I did not know these even existed until I received them in the mail. I highly recommend these to anyone with small kids. I will definitely buy these again. I have more cabinets that I need blocked off.

    I used the mag locks on my sink cabinet where I keep many different cleaning chemicals. My 1 year old loves opening those doors to the sink cabinet! With these mag locks I have peace of mind he isn’t getting into anything he shouldn’t in seconds! The locks click together instantly and you use the little key to unlock the magnets when needed. Easy installation and so simple but such a necessity for any parent. Highly recommend.
