The retractable gate works as expected. Not too hard to install. Requires two hands to open/close gate. The push and turn mechanism to unlock the retractable gate doesn’t work 100% of the time. So you may have to repeat a couple times. Regardless I’m pleased with the device. I attempted to order another one. Store/online is all out. Found another one in a different color and purchased.

I find this a great product. You do need two hands to open and close but then again it is a security gate so it is not suppose to be easy for just anyone to open. I use it to keep my cats from entering our family room and it works great. Easy to install.

I use this product to keep my sons from going to places in the house where they shouldn’t be, mainly out of their sisters’ room where they often try to sneak of to. I liked that the gate screws to the wall so I can easily just pull it across and hook it when I need to. I know that the release button is supposed to be harder to use so kids can’t release the gate on their own, but sometimes it can be hard for adults to do, too. I like the overall design and ease of use of the gate.

I really like this baby gate some pros to the Dream Baby Baby Gates are soft to the touch for babies or animals breathable mesh material with air holes throughout the entire gate it’s retractable so when you want to get through or you’re done using it you just unhook it and it just rolls up against the wall Two sets of mount hooks to be able to use in two separate doorways. Cons of the gate baby gate that I do not like the installation, having to drill holes in the wall. For those who may be renting this may not be ok to have unless discussed with owner. This baby gate is very different from other baby gates by the mesh materiel. I don’t worry about if ny children’s fingers will get pinched. I would definitely purchase this baby gate. I honestly was not aware of the Retractable Gate O would absolutely recommend this bday gate to many many people

This was perfect for our needs. We put the gate at the top of our deck stairs to block out pet from going down when she isn’t allowed. I love how it is completely retractable and can easily be opened and closed by my 19 year old, but my pet can’t jump or go under. I would definitely recommend this product

My husband installed this gate on our back porch. He said the instructions were terrible and all the pieces weren’t labeled. I don’t like how loud it is when you open it. If you don’t pull the gate far enough to close, it locks, so you have to retract it and try again. I do like that it retracts out of the way, and there is no bar to possibly trip over. I would recommend as an outdoor gate.

The only real complaint I havewith this gate is that it’s always a two hand job to open or close it. The picture shows a nice lady holding a happy baby (large baby) closing the gate…this is NOT POSSIBLE!! It’s great if you have an opening that’s on an angle. Works great for our living room and love how it’s compact when not in use. It does take brains to use it so if you don’t plan on reading directions pick a different one!

I love that’s it’s suitable for indoor and outdoors. I was aware of this awesome product from a friend who is currently using it, and wanted one so bad The quality of the material is good. You can install it in the doorway or stairway. Easy installation which comes with useful and easy to read instructions. It also comes with the mounts. It doesn’t hang back and forth like the cheap wooden/plastic gates once they losen up. It’s used for pets and children. It looks sturdy, but I feel nervous because (that’s just the way I am) to install the gate up the stairs for a toddler like mine who is very destructive even if the material looks good and sturdy.

I don’t love that I have to put holes in the walls, but it wasn’t a deal breaker for me personally. I love this retractable gate. It’s incredibly convenient to just be able to retract it and pull it back out when needed. Nothing to try to store or struggle with.
