Turn your Dremel rotary tool into a powerful high-speed cutter. Create stylish designs on wood, fiberglass, ceramics, jewelry, soft metals and more. Our powerful, simple-to-use engraving cutters make it easy to express your creativity. Two cutters per pack. Dermal 115-5/16 in. High speed cutter is ideal for shaping, hollowing, grooving, slotting, inlaying and making tapered holes. For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down. This provides plenty of shank for the collect or chuck to hold onto the bit.
- Secure objects to a stable surface while working
- Use the sides of the cutter (rather than the tip) for effective cutting the tip cuts poorly and can break under pressure
- Use higher speeds for hard woods, slower speeds for metals and very slow speeds for plastics (to avoid melting at the point of contact)
- If chattering occurs, increase speed
- Great for cutting on curved surfaces
- Turns Dremel rotary tools into high-speed cutting tools

I have used this several times to recess hex nuts into plywood. Using the hex nuts to attach a 21x18x3/4 plywood piece which extends the edge of my workbench. Workbench was too thick to clamp items to. Extending the edge worked out great. Great quality, thank you.

It did the job I used it for which was to rout a wood cabinet edge. I recommend going no more than an 1/8” with each pass to prevent overwhelming the bit.

No issues. They worked as stated in the ad. The only issue I had (and it was my fault) was that they wore out quicker than I hoped (I used them on masonry stone). I bought a hardened steel tip (different shape), and that one lasted a long time.

I do a lot of carving on both wood, and brass and these high speed cutting bits do a great job. If they overheat they get dull but with a diamond wheel they can be brought back to sharp
