A versatile, high-quality cutter made of high-grade steel for use on wood, plastic and soft metals. For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down. This provides plenty of shank for the collect or chuck to hold onto the bit. Ideal for shaping, hollowing, grooving, slotting, inlaying and making tapered holes in soft metals, plastics and woods especially on curved surfaces.
- Secure objects to a stable surface while working
- Use the sides of the cutter (rather than the tip) for effective cutting the tip cuts poorly and can break under pressure
- Use higher speeds for hard woods, slower speeds for metals and very slow speeds for plastics (to avoid melting at the point of contact)
- If chattering occurs, increase speed

I would give it five stars but I bought it thinking it would gut out more wood than it did. My project was to re-create the door fixture, socket and lock bolt socket. (New wood and all) However, once I got started using my drill, the process went a little slower than I thought. I ended up getting bigger bit to finish the job.

The Triangle-Shaped High Speed Cutter works great for detailed carving and precision work. I have been doing some relief carving for the past 2 weeks and it has been extremely useful when I am doing those areas in the carving where I need a very fine point and cant get it done with the small Dremel 105 carving bit. So far I have used this bit to outline quite a bit of lettering as well as some detail work on a hot air balloon relief carving. It works great with pine and I have had no issues at 15000 and 30000 rpms. Not sure why I would need 2 but its always nice to have an extra.

Very promising. Easy to work with even on a power tool that is so much underpowered. But its precise and efficient.

The tool does what it is designed to do. I used it to carve a moose antler. It retained its sharpness throughout the process. It permitted me to carve angles and details that were not possible with the other bits in my tool box.

I got these a few days ago and I wanted to see how good they are with my 8220 cordless and they work good. I got them for engraving and I tried them on aluminum and they cut through them like they were nothing

I love my Dremel! And I only buy Dremel bits to get the job done. I found they way out last cheap knock offs.
