This is an extremely versatile rotary tool. It can cut, sand, grind, polish, carve as well as drill and engrave with the appropriate bits or accessories. I am new to using this tool so I started out by using the cut off wheel (included) to carve my initial in wood. (See pics attached) You can also use it on metal, but I wanted to get a feel for the attachment and the tool. It has a lot of power and cut into the wood like butter. It also is very quiet when running. I felt like I had good control because it isn’t very heavy, it feels well balanced and is comfortable to hold. It is a very well-made, high quality rotary tool. It comes with an Operating/Safety Instruction Booklet, a cutting guide attachment and numerous bits and accessories which are in a small case. This 200 Series is a 2 speed model with just a low speed (15,000 rpm) and high speed (35,000 rpm). For now it works for what I need it for, but I may invest in a variable speed model in the future for more individualized project control. This 200 Series model can be used with all Dremel accessories EXCEPT MS400 or MS400 attacments. My only disappointment in this product is that there is not a case for the Dremel tool for storage. Cardboard boxes get beat up after awhile.

This is an amazing tool! I’ve actually worn out two other rotary tools! Since it’s a Dremel, all the tools fit that I already had. It’s very powerful and seems a little better built than the older Dremel’s I’ve used before. Pro tip, all you need is a snug fit by hand for the collet. I didn’t use the small wrench included until I was buffing and the buffing spindle got stuck. No problem with the little wrench.

This is a good tool with good features and so many options for accessories. I just wish it came with a hard carrying case instead of a cardboard box carrying case. Overall though, the tool works well for all of my projects.

200 Series 1.15 Amp 2-Speed Corded Rotary Tool. Many call it a a hobby craft tool, it is, however it is so much more. An excellent choice for the Hobbyist, diy, or pro. The tool has saved me countless hours in so many tasks at home and at the work place. I acquired my first dremel in the early 60s a worker at the parts distribution for our company ask me what it was and I told him to add it to my parts list. Sitting in the back of my truck saved me a ton of time over the years. Check out your local store they will have a huge display of all the dremel tools and accessories. three companies since 1932 and the dremel still lives. As always be careful follow the safety rules, they turn a high rpm, that’s why they cut shafts nuts and bolts so well.

I love this Dremel, it came with so many attachments, it will be a while before I use them all. I picked this one, so I could grind off the nails that they used when installing the cabinets. Apparently they used to big of a gauge and the nails poke though into the neighboring cabinet. I was getting tired of scratching my hands on them. I used the grinder attachment to just cut them flush. I also used the attachments to adjust the strike plate on my doors, I’ve cut dowels, sharpen cutting tools, ect. It’s just really handy to have around for those odd little jobs.

I am really impressed with this little drill, grinder, sander, cutter, polisher, buffer. I have used it on my boat, my hunting jeep, odd jobs around the house to grind down a screw tip, cut or sand a rough spot and buff. Just comes in handy for all kind of uses in tight spot or where you do not want to use a big drill. Bought the accessory kit with all kinds of extra pieces. Great tool, great price. Just wish it had a harden carrying case. Which is really not a problem.

Cut right through a seized bearing race that had to be cut from the inside. The opening was 2 1/2″ no tool in the shop could do the job. This little guy did it without breaking a sweat.
