The dremel flex shaft rotary tool works excellent. I should have purchased this along time ago.The product is well made and does what is expected. I did try to use this on a craftsman rotary tool and would not work,so bought a new dremel to go along with rotary flex shaft and worked great.

I use the Dremel Flex Attachment for a lot of woodworking projects and have to say it was the right choice to buy it. The Dremel has to be hang higher than the tool otherwise the shaft gets very hot. If you install it correctly it will serve you very well. It will also fit on other rotary tools like the WEN.

Very handy and comfortable. Takes a little getting used to because of the cord

There is only one length not two!!This listing has a error the flex shaft is 36in. long not 32in. Its one length
Seamus Lebsack (verified owner) –
Length could be a tad longer and a stand for hanging the the tool would be a great addition to this that is included would be even better.

It made the battery operated drama that I have much easier to use on finer details

I used this with Dremel 4300. On the box, it does not show its compatibility with Dremel 4300. My experience is that it did not fit very well with Dremel 4300. Eventually I managed but it was not as smooth as expected. Other than the coupling issues, its a great and must have tool for your rotary needs.

I like the way it feels in my hand as it’s more like a pen or.pencil and gives me greater control over what I’m engraving or sanding. Less hand fatigue because you’re not having to support weight of the Dremel tool, itself. The one thing I would recommend is attaching a vertical support (like an inverted letter “L” to your work bench to hang the Dremel tool so that flex part of the shaft is above you. That takes up the weight of the shaft and you can engrave or shape for even longer periods of time. You’re not dragging the weight of the shaft across your work surface as you engrave or sand. Trust me. The muscles in your hands, wrist and arms will thank you for it the next day—especially if your full-time job involves lots of keyboard work. Insight gained from personal experience. 🙂
