It is useful for what it is intended for. It was more difficult to adjust and maintain the adjustment then i had expected it to be. Otherwise, turns your dremel into a mini router as expected.

It’s small but well built. It was inexpensive but very sturdy. Excellent features. Turned my dremel into a router. Not something you can use in place of a 2hp full size router but it’s amazing for smaller stuff! The price point was excellent. It’s a full on plunge router base with the ability to set depth stops for repeatability.

It works amazingly for small projects. But for bigger ones you might need a bigger router

With the plunge router attachment, it was easier and smoother to etch and engrave. It was more steady than just by hand. It took a minimal learning curve but you can quickly adjust and the outcome is great.

This is a great extension to the value of my rotary tool. The plunge feature of this attachment is awesome. So far this router attachment has lived up to my expectations.

I used the Dremel 335-01 to make the decorative edges around a display base for one of my son’s model cars. It worked like a charm. I also have an expensive large routing table and full size plunge router from another brand but found the Dremel to be the perfect size and took half as long as the base I made with my other machines using the same style/patterns. I’ve no complaints about this Dremel product and am happy to say for smaller jobs I’d skip the traditional router whenever possible.

Holds the Dremel right in place with our any wiggling around, works great.

I added the Plunger Router Attachment years ago when I built a curio cabinet for my wife. I was skeptical at first, but was impressed as it sang through the wood and gave me the edges I wanted. I thought about buying a full size router to accomplish the task, but was extremely pleased with the attachment Dremel made available.

Worked fine for the little job I needed it for.Note: Not for full size routing jobs. It’s made for small decorative detail routing like making plaques and picture frames and such the bits are quite small compared to normal routers.

It works ok, but in the end it could not handle the difficult tasks of finesse on even a mildly hard wood. Yet, it seems to cover some jobs alright. As usual, get the right tool for the job. I should have used a proper router meant for tougher jobs.

Bought it to do some inlay work on a violin build and now use it on Dulcimers and guitars. Makes installation of bindings a breeze.

Great for smaller jobs. Multiple passes for anything larger than an 1/8 of an inch depth.Hard for me to change bits as my fingers can’t press the lock button once the dremel is attached.

My wife was using plastic cutting tray. She was using plastic tray for only one features cutting and collecting veggies and fruits. I doesn’t like plastic because its getting micro plastic in food. But similar style tray not available in wood any where in market. I decide to make my own. I had primal rotary tool I done some research found found this routing tool. You can see my first routing work.

It was easy to assemble and the instructions were well written with illustrations. This is not a tool for big jobs, but does great for small craft-like applications. It takes a little practice, so use a scrap piece of wood to get some experience with it and you should be able to use it effectively.Like I said, it is not for big, heavy work. If you want to make big cuts, you will need a real router.

Allows the dremel to work as a handheld router.

Got this and started using to work on a light house I was building. Came in handy straightening some cutouts and rounding the edges off. Was nice to have a router for the jobs that a regular router would work for. Easy setup installing the Dremel tool. The plunge action is a nice function but very touchy has to go straight up and down or it jams. The Dremel is easy to remove for regular usage. The lock down for the side gauge is too close to the depth adjustment. Makes hard to change distance from edge. The opening to lock the collet while doing a tool change is to small to comfortably use.

I have had the plunge router base for several years now. I use it for inlay work on small boxes I make. It has proven itself many times how well built it is, also it is easy to set up to get repeatable cuts. lot nicer then using even my smallest large plunge router.
