Purchased this for mortising a door. It worked beautifully! I have a 275 model dremel and it fits/works perfectly. If you have a dremel and dont have a router and dont want to spend $100 on a router, I definitely recommend giving this a try. With a ~$25 price point you dont have much to lose.

Really enjoy it. Love making things for my kids. Dremel are really great tools. Easy to use.

Have used it twice for sign making on wood and have been able to carve using smaller router bits for more detail carving. Easy to handle and control my Dremel.

For an arts-and-crafts project for the wife, I had to rout a couple of half-inch-deep slots into cherrywood. Used a Dremel #650 bit. It went well enough, considering this was the first time I used the attachment. Could not have done it without this little contraption. The build is, well…cheap, as you might expect for at tool with such a low price . All plastic except for two steel 10” rods to guide straight cuts. For any serious routing, neither the Dremel tool or this guide are to be considered, but that’s the deal with these. But they functioned well together for my very light-duty job. Will use it again, glad I bought it. Extra comment: Not that Dremels are dangerous if you exercise reasonable care—but do yourself a favor: Be a sissy and wear a face shield. Extra extra comment: Dremel sells a little fan attachment that blows dust away while cutting. I should have used one, would have made the grooves straighter if I could have seen what I was doing.

Much easier to control for smaller jobs than a full size router & plunge. Too bad dremel router bits don’t hold up very well.

This is a very useful attachment for a Dremel rotary tool. It makes routing much easier, and the fence allows you create grooves, dados/trenches, rabbets and fillisters (but beware of ripouts). The negatives is that the clear plastic is not very scratch resistant, and only a little use will cloud it up permanently. And because Dremel rotary tools don’t allow locking the shaft from rotating, you cannot use it with chisel bits (hand routing) for things like cleaning out edges and corners.t’s not a replacement for a real router, but very good for the price if you already have a Dremel tool.

It was easy to assemble and the instructions were well written with illustrations. This is not a tool for big jobs, but does great for small craft-like applications. It takes a little practice, so use a scrap piece of wood to get some experience with it and you should be able to use it effectively.Like I said, it is not for big, heavy work. If you want to make big cuts, you will need a real router.

The bits work well, easy to switch, and get the job done as expected.

The bits perform as I expected. Every Dremel product I own exceeds expectations and is of superior quality. However, I am not happy with the Home Depot shipping process. I ordered this bit set and the Dremel router table on 29 Dec 14. I did not receive the bits until 14 Jan 15. Pony Express could have done better than the combination of UPS & USPS.

They were as described . worked well .I have used them quite a bit since purchase ,no problems . Only thing that could be a little better is a case . They came in a clear plastic package if you cut it open just right you can reuse it as a case .

It works ok, but in the end it could not handle the difficult tasks of finesse on even a mildly hard wood. Yet, it seems to cover some jobs alright. As usual, get the right tool for the job. I should have used a proper router meant for tougher jobs.

I LIKE THEM. I THINK THEY ARE PRICED TOO HIGH.

I was a bit torn about buying this based on some of the negative reviews here and elsewhere, but I’m glad I picked it up.The plunge function is definitely this accessories weakest aspect, but a bit of 3-in-1 oil on the guides and taking shallow passes has made it completely functional. The depth adjustment stays locked without too much tightening and the base is true with no flex. The edge guide works as it should. The depth gauge is a joke though, so measure with a real ruler.I have been using this for a few weeks on hard woods (African Blackwood, Oak, Birdseye Maple and others) along with some Dremel cutting bits and I couldn’t be happier.I usually don’t write reviews, but I just used a tiny router sled and this attachment to true up the face of some Maple. This is something I struggled with using my full sized router because the pieces are so small; this attachment actually made it enjoyable – the whole point of my hobby.

This tool works well as intended. It does not fit my needs as well as I thought it might. Would I recommend it? Maybe,, dependent on the purchaser’s intended use.
