I love Dremel tools! You can do almost anything with them. Of course, the variable speed versions – of which this is one – do the best. This unit has a nice feel to it, and the tools that come with it make most jobs as easy as pie. You always do need to replace the abrasive wheels, etc., but the main unit looks and feels like it should last quite some time.

This Dremel Rotary Tool with 38 pc. accessories is perfect for many uses around the home and for the professional! I have one of the first dremel tools that came out and have used it for many projects. But this new version of the unit it fantastic! High performance motor, varaiable speeds,quiet opertion, a nice carrying case, 34 assorted accessories, 4 attachments, WOW, what more could you ask for, all in one? I like to use it for alot of my craft projects. I like the writing bit, it makes nice lettering for signs I make. It has a nice 6 ft. cord too. I have convinced my husband what a neat tool it is too, he has one similiar but not as many attachments, and now he likes using mine!

This dremel was a gift. I had an older dremel that finally gave up, so I was given this one. The dremel 4000 is by far the greatest product that money can buy. It does everything that dremel. claims it can do and more. It is great for small jobs and some big ones as well. I have always been partial to dremel brand products, but after having this one. I have had my Dremel for a couple of months now. I bought it to replace a smaller one I had been using for 15 yr. before I finally wore it out.This 4000 model has terrific power! It is still small enough to be easy to handle for my model building but it has enough “grunt” to get me out of some tough situations with my auto repairs.Dremel tools are so versatile that I am sure this will be one of my most oft used tools. Just like my old one was.

What a great too kit!! I love absolutely love this rotary tool, so versatile! The quick lock feature allows for quick accessory changing and is very simple to use. I have a battery operated rotary tool and it doesn’t even compare to this one! The spin dial allows for easy change of RPMs depending on your need. I love the circle guide cutter! It helps you cut circles between 4-12″ wide!This tool is perfect for the novice, professional, DIYer! I highly recommend it!

This 4000 Series is by far the best Dremel I have owned. It is so easy to change accessories because of the quick collet lock feature, it is very well balanced, easy to use and it is extremely versatile with the variable speed capability. The RPM ranges from very slow speed of 5,000 rpm to very fast of 35,000 rpm which means that you can always set the suggested speed for any Dremel accessory. Which ultimately means, that the projects or uses for this tool are limitless! Included are a hard case, accessories for carving, engraving, cutting, grinding, sharpening, cleaning, polishing and sanding, as well as 3 collets. Also included are 4 attachments: a cutting guide, a sanding/grinding guide, a detailer’s grip and MY personal favorite…a circle cutter/ staight edge guide! It can cut circles from 3/4″ – 12″ diameter. As you can see from my pictures, #1 I have cut a circle 3/4 of the way, #2 I am operating the circle cutter and #3 holding the circle I cut. It performed great and worked effortlessly. This Dremel 4000, is a well-built, very powerful and an extremely versatile tool that I will be using often! Thank you, Dremel!

I bought the tool to remove a couple of screws with stripped heads. Other methods were not successful. I used the rotary disk to cut a tiny slot in the screw heads. Worked perfectly, easy to use when following instructions, need to get the feel a few minutes on how to best hold the tool for precision work.
