I use these a lot to trim my Golden Retriever ‘s nails. My dog is very sensitive to this procedure and it allows me to approach the task carefully as opposed the the clipper method. The clippers are too prone to quicking the actual pulp of the nail. The sanding band allow the easy shaping and de-burring the nail and prevent splitting the nail by catching on fabric or rugs, I use it with the flex cable.
