I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review. I used the Dremel PawControl product to trim my dog’s nails regularly. She is a Vizsla, a high energy breed with long, fast growing nails. While it’s not always an easy task, the outcome is much better than with clippers and faster. The high powered tool gets the job done quickly, as long as Lucy cooperates. I would recommend this tool to all dog owners that want a quick solution for regular nail trimming.

My wife, who’s an artist, uses this all the time and she absolutely loves it. Plenty of power to get the job done and she loves all the interchangeable features.

I bought this to replace a 14 year old model. 375 i believe it was. I loved the size of the old one. But the motor finally went. The new one has started to see some use and i couldnt be happier with the purchase

Pretty decent, questions about interchanability with other parts in the future, but Drexel and off-brand, but it seems like it’ll be okay

I own two 4000s I saw the 4200at the local home improvement store and I decided to pick one up and I was so pleased with it I decided to buy another one

did my home work (so I thought) and bought the 4200-4/36 package. a great tool for what little I have used it so far. I thought I could buy just the added accessories as I needed them. Needed a grout cleaning attachment for my first larger project. But all the stores carried pre-packaged tools and I would have to buy many items I all ready had or did not need. Hopefully I can buy the individual attachments somewhere. Can I buy them individually and where?

First let me say that I love this tool. It does everything you expect from a Dremel rotary tool. I have been using it for about a year now and it is fantastic! I only use it in my spare time, and I am no hardcore hobbyist, so I was surprised that it stopped working on me… I didn’t notice any hiccups or power loss… it just died… I am hoping it is a simple fix since I am in the middle of a project… but if not I might have to purchase another one and hope it lasts longer. Other than that the only other negative I have is the lack of ease to find the correct carbon brush for this model. I would rate this product 5 stars if it wasn’t for the sudden death of the product. :/

I bought this to use when I needed it for small projects around the house. I haven’t used it a lot but the few pieces I have used worked as expected. The bits are easy to change out. The motor runs smoothly and so far without any overheating. All in all it’s a great product that runs smoothly and reliably as I have come to expect from Dremel.

So far the quick release for the bits is holding up and works well. The feature makes changing tools easy and fas.t

I’ve always wanted a dremel but never got around to buying one. I received this one for Christmas and have been nothing but impressed with its construction, flexibility, and ease of use. I collect and wear belt buckles (the nerdy kind and not the cowboy kind) and I had one that I couldn’t wear because it was too small to allow the snaps of the belt to pass through. Well, my Dremel helped me to finally alleviate that problem and I can wear the buckle now. I’ve also polished my golf clubs, repaired and refinished an old bird house, installed a system in the wall of my home to hide wires going to my flat screen TV, all with the Dremel being the primary tool. I can’t wait to find new challenges that my Dremel can help me fix. I would highly recommend this tool for everyone!

This tool does a great job at low speeds – but at high speeds the spring the holds the bit in starts to loose its grip and the bit will work itself out of the tool. It’s not a huge deal, but after about 30 seconds I have to shut down the tool, re-insert the bit, and keep working.

Looking to replace my last Dremel Tool which was 20 years old. This model is easy to use, has superior speed control adjustment. All my old attachments are compatible with this Dremel. A Win Win outcome for my tool collection.

Dremel has a good product and made it easier to change bits. I have more than one Dremel tool and find them to begood tools.

I purchased a Dremel 4200. I found changing of the collets to be very difficult and cumbersome. If you plan on using various size accessories this model is not for you.

Bought this to help me do things I cant do with bigger tool because of the size etc, I used mine the first time out to cut through the thick inner bearing off of my motorcycle, cut right through it! The metal was about 1/32 thick or so and it didnt quit on me, threw sparks like my angle grinder haha. I think the people bad mouthing this product dont know how to use a dremel.

I GOT THIS FOR CHRISTMAS AND THIND THIS IS THE BEST TOOL THAT YALL HAVE MADE.

Changing bits just became so much easier with the pull back release.

Of dremel tools this is one of the best. Main reason is that the chuck is a quick set type that you merely use your fingers to push the install portion and insert the bit. The same to remove them. The troubling part is that Dremel is no longer producing this model and upon checking new and current products, none now have the bit chuck as does this model. I purchased two of this model that I have located so far. Excellent product and used extensively for a multitude of projects.
