I think this is a great tool. I bought it to grind my dogs’ nails and it does a good job. I love the variable speeds as it gives me greater control of both the grinding and the sound so the dogs don’t get freaked out. Thank you to the reviewer of a smaller model who said to just bite the bullet and buy the 4300. S/he was absolutely right.

We obviously haven’t used it a whole lot but we used it to sand down the fine details on some wooden knife handles we made which worked like a dream!!It was originally bought to do some stone carving and while we’ve tried it a little we haven’t done a whole lot with it but it works great. We followed the instructions to let it run for so long before using and make sure you run it at correct speeds but so far, working great!!

This dremel works very well. It goes from nice and slow and easy to very aggresive. Ive put sanding wheels to clean up some wood to grinding metal down and used cutting wheels to cut a hole on a trailer to install an eletric jack. Works good. Highly recommend it

I would have given this item 5 stars but it is not cordless and does not have an abundance of storage for accessories. I previously purchased a cordless Dremel motor tool and it stopped working by the third or fourth time I went to use it. I don’t have a need for these types of tools every day, but one would surmise that a tool with the name Dremel would certainly function beyond 4 uses. Regardless, this “corded” tool performs as advertised and will be a handy device in my inventory the next time I need one. Additionally, the case that comes with this tool should offer storage for the multitude of accessories one amasses with such a tool.
