This rotary tool is well made. Quiet, Low vibration, Light weight, And very versatile. The pen attachment is very handy for my dogs nails as well as doing detailed stone carving. I was surprised with how nice the carrying case is. It would be nice though if it came with a detailed list of attachments/Inserts and what they are suitable to be used for. I’m not very good with search engines so it took me a while to find the bit I needed. I’ve had this tool for about 3 months and can’t really find any problems with the tool itself.

Amazing little rotary tool. Took it to my daughters house and started on replacing door locks when we realized the new deadbolt required a larger opening. No problem, I pulled out my dremel and routed out a larger opening in the steel door. She slept safe that night!!!

Very satisfied with the support from Dremel. I cross threaded the shaft and called support and I shipped it out to them to fix and they even paid shipping both ways. The only niggle I found with it was the ability to cut a bolt using the cutting wheel, I was able to cut one bolt but the cutoff disc came free from the easy lock system when I started the other. I probably should have used my grinder with a cutoff wheel. Aside from that I’ve made signs using the router adapter and used it to carve as well. The photo turned out strange as the letters appear to be raised but they are definitely routed out…must be the paint. All in all the kit was a tremendous buy at $99.00

This kit includes the main Dremel tool (4300) and nearly every attachment, except for the more specialty ones, and tons of accessory bits.If you are someone who uses a rotary tool for a lot of different jobs, this is the kit for you.At first I thought the case was a bit too much, but seeing all that comes with it, its nice to be able to store/organize everything well. It comes with 9 attachments: pivot light attachment, shield, cutting guide, right angle attachment, sanding/grinding guide, detailer’s grip, circle cutter / straight edge guide, garden tool sharpener, and Flex-shaft. The Flex-shaft essentially turns the tool into a smaller easier to control tool for the most precise detail work.It comes with 2 smaller cases filled with lots of accessory bits for various jobs. There are too many to list, but a couple I really like are the 2 “EZ” bits for easily changing cutting discs and sanding drums and a fan attachment that keeps debris out of your work area so you can see better.If you are new to rotary tools: This tool can do so many different things (drill, sand, cut, carve, grind, clean/polish, etc), but I wouldn’t say that it could be used as a replacement for all other specific tools like a drill or saw. It does the jobs that those other, larger, tools can’t do. This means jobs that are smaller, require more fine detail or precision, etc. If you are just starting out and know you need a rotary tool for one or two specific tasks, this may not be the kit for you because it includes so many things that you may not ever use. However, if you do a lot of those smaller, detailed jobs and a lot of DIY around the house, then this will give you nearly everything you could possibly need without having to buy it all separately – and with a very nice case to keep it all organized.
