With the 480, 481, 482, 483 collets, plus a quick-change collet nut, you can easily use a wide range of bits. 5-piece set. Now have wrench-free accessory changes. The Keyless Chuck holds accessories without using a collet eliminating having to use a wrench and creating quick and easy accessory changes. Ideal when the application requires numerous accessory changes.

- Rings correspond with the size of the collet: 0 rings equals to 1/8 in., 3 rings equals to 3/32 in., 2 rings equals to 1/16 in., 1 ring equals to 1/32 in.
- For use with all rotary tools except discontinued models 1, 2 and series 1 or earlier of discontinued models 260, 270 and 280

Just to put it out there, Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.I’ve always had the 1/8″ and 3/32″ collets for my Dremel 395. But I never knew there were even smaller collets! This set comes with 1/8″, 3/32″, 1/16″, and 1/32″. For easy identification, Dremel has put 1 ring around the base of the 1/32″ collet, 2 rings around the 1/16″, and 3 rings around the 3/32″. There are no rings around the 1/8″ as it’s the most common to be used. The set also comes with a collet nut that also fits the wrench that came with my 395. All the collets easily slipped into my 395 and cinched down snugly on any bit that I fit in. This is a great set that will complement anyones Dremel kit.

Dremel has provided me with this product in exchange for an honest review. I already owned several of these sets since I have 2 Dremals, Corded and non-corded. They all worked as designed however, once they made available the Multi-Pro Chuck, I have not gone back to to this collet style. The Pro Chuckis soooo much easier and faster to use.

Works the way it’s supposed to! I don’t know why Dremel doesn’t put the extra three collets in with the original product, though. It caused me some confusion when I found my 1/6″ drill bit didn’t fit in the original collet.

I love these. They keep all my attachments snug and secure, from the largest bits down to the smallest jewelers drill bit. I need precision, when drilling holes in a piece of jewelry. If you’re using a rotary tool for anything but drilling with drill bits, you need collets. The tool is useless without them. The only problems are that a) they are small, and b) there are four different sizes. Even if you do 98% of your projects with one size, you know there will be that moment when you need a tip that’s on a thinner shaft. So if you don’t have these in your collection, and more than one of each, it’s an easy decision. I have also found that collet sets from other manufacturers are sometimes not as precise as true Dremel.One request to Dremel: PLEASE sell these in a little case or box, not just the bubble pack.
