All my Dremel rotary tools, four of them, two corded and two rechargables, have one these. Got this one for the newest addition to the arsenal, another rechargable.

nice addition, just wish the drexel folks made it compatible with all tool-tip attachments (aka sometime you have to take it off…)

This thing is a time saver, but after use most bits seem to get stuck, requiring pliers and some rocking action to release. This can be an issue if you are in the field, far from other tools.IMO this thing should be part of the included Dremel kit

I carve wood and metals. Which means am changing bits quite often between cutting, roughing in, smoothing, buffing and final polish. Constantly having to use the small wrench to loosen, remove, then tighten again when changing different size collets for various size tools and bits in the past due slowed projects down, at times substantially With the chuck, my start/finish time on a project has been cut by at least 75%. Can change bits in seconds rather than minutes. The Chuck has presented no problems with loose bit[s], they stay centered and in place with just hand-tightening.

Exactly what it needed to be. Worked without issue as intended.

This is by far the best thing you could possibly get it makes changing bits super easy no more key that always gets lost I will always use the keyless chuck as long as I use my dremel It’s a lifetime thing

Excellent for when you have those small odd size holes to drill in your whatever. I have purchased two and both run true .

Nice to finally replace those annoying collets. Why don’t they just make this standard? Best 10 bucks I’ve spent in awhile.

This chuck works great on my 3000 tool. It’s easy to use other size bits like the drill bits that Dremel offers.
