Product is great, homedepot has a major problem with shipping, slow and they changed the shipping date 3 times after purchase.

This is a fabulous addition to my Dremel. I’m always grinding and sanding metal and wood, and don’t like all the debris blowing in my face or falling, back down into my Dremel. This blower blows it away from my face and helps keep debris from getting into my Dremel.

Well Dremel has done it again. A new accessory that is backward compatible with older Dremels models. If you do a lot of carving or even drilling material like aluminum or brass that produces dust this is the acessory for you! Once installed the fan breeze blows debree from your work area.Easy to install and you are on your way to having a dust free work area when working and you won’t have to huff and puff your way to completing your project!

Ordering the product was easy, and shipping was fast! The price was much lower than other sites I had shopped, plus this was a more solid built tool. Overall, great experience!!!

The Dermal Dust Blower 490 is a good accessory for Dremel rotary tools. The only drawback is it can only be used with the Dremel collets, not the 4486 keyless chuck.

I was given this dust blower as a joke by one of my buddies. My friends stop by from time to time to see what project I have going on and one my go to tools is my Dremel rotary tool. I have had my Dremel for about 15 years. And, its not the most expensive one from Dremel its the cheapest one the sell. On/OFF switch thats it one speed only and has not failed me yet. My buddy and I were surprized at the materials this dust blower was able to move.

This attachment is very useful for carving. However, it only blow hard enough on high speed, and when it touch a hard surface on high speed, it scratch a little bit.

I love, love, love this attachment! It makes whatever I’m working on dust free. I’ve had it for a while and I love it. It also makes changing bits super easy.

I mainly work on wood which requires the Dremel rotary highest speed and because the fan action depends on the speed and material, so it effectively blow away fine wood dust from the work area and keep my view unobstructed, it keeps all the dust and wood particles out of the way while I’m working. It is effortless to be installed and removed from the tool or the flex shaft, and it makes no difference in how you change the bits. While engraving I avoid working at low angles because the blower can be scratched or can scar up the work piece. I do not engrave too much but when used, it is very helpful to me.

For years I’ve carved with my Dremel tools. The process has always been to carve and then blow and carve and blow. Then one day I happened upon this little gem. Now as I carve the majority of the dust is just blown away as soon as it is produced. Now my carving is a bit more precise since I’m almost never carving under dust and I don’t have to blow on my carving over and over again. A fantastic device and well worth the reasonable price!
