This sanding wheel was exactly what I needed to get the job done. I needed to remove old pvc plastic pipe and glue from a fitting that broke off but not grind too deep into the fitting because I had to reuse it. I started out with the 80 grit wheel and finished with the 120 girt.

I bought the 80 grit and the 120 grit just try them and I was impresses at the lasting life of these little workhorses. And, please let the word little keep you from trying them out. I used mind to remove the curb rash on my aluminum wheels and saved alot time. By hand is just not the to go. I went back to my local hardware store and bought a back set.

I may have been expecting the wrong results for how the flap wheel was supposito perform. I expected it to sand, and it really sanded/dug a groove. I switched to the coarse wirey/spongy pads and they worked great for getting into small areas to sand.
