Ideal for shaping ceramic wall tile around bathroom or kitchen fixtures or plumbing pipes. You can also create decorative wall tile by cutting a design, such as a sailboat and filling it with colored grout. For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down. This provides plenty of shank for the collet or chuck to hold onto the bit.
- Cuts ceramic wall tile, cement board and plaster (not for use on floor tile)
- A high-speed cutter with a 1/8 in. steel shank
- Start at a 45° angle when cutting into a piece of material
- Do not use this bit to cut ceramic floor tile and to cut metal
- For use with all Dremel tools
- Bit diameter 1/8 in.

Made drilling tile manageable. Without, I would still be trying to figure how to do it.

I bought this to enlarge holes in a fiberglass boat where I could not reach with a normal power drill. I first drilled a 3 mm hole with my Dremel, then enlarged it to 6 mm with the 562.

The bit chewed through the tile real easy. Used it to cut a nice round hole for the shower faucet

Recently installed backsplash in the kitchen and ran into some smaller cuts that were very difficult using the tile saw. I purchased the tile cutting bit to cut the 3×6 ceramic subway tiles around electrical outlets and it worked extremely well. I would highly recommend for smaller tile cutting projects or detailed cuts.

Great cutting bit – just wish I could have gotten a 5/8″ bit but there wasn’t that option at my store.

If you have a Dremel tool, this provides an option for working on the small tile projects you may have. Rather than having to rent a tool saw, investing in the bit, as well as the tile blade helps allow you to do the custom tile work you normally have to pay a couple of $100 dollars to get done.

Awesome Dremel accessory. Cut thru tile like butter. Did not heat up, nor get clogged. Highly recommended.

This product was perfect for the small job I needed it for, because that small job was part of a much larger project. Without this tool, I would not have been able to successfully finish the project. I’m so thankful HD had this item in stock.

Haven’t used it yet, only 6 days old. Purchased to cut Terra Cota Planter Pots. We’ll advise how it works when project is completed.

Easy and holy cow this thing was perfect for drilling the tile they forgot to do on a backsplash for the plate screws. First time drilling with this bit make sure you get the guide or your will not have precise cuts. Awesome bit.

I used this bit to cut holes in durock for my shower hardware. It quickly cut the holes, I just had to hold the dremel tight. It creates an enormous amount of dust so be sure to wear a mask.

Needed to trim wall tile around a junction box to enlarge the opening for an outlet. Installer covered a little too much of the junction box for an GFCI outlet to fit, which is much better than the alternative. This bit solved it, effortlessly grinding away edges of the tile along the inside edge of the opening. Don’t know how well it will last over time but it gets the job done.

ive had the same bit for several years in a manufacturing environment. this bit has held up great i use it on mostly carbon fiber which will dull most bits in a day and this thing mows right through it. i have cut through 1/4 fiberglass with relative ease. not what its designed for but best tool i have found in 8 years of composite work.
