When used in conjunction with the separately sold Dremel Grout Removal Attachment (model 568), it precisely pulverizes old grout behind the power of a rotary tool. When the grout bordering your wall or floor tile runs its course or becomes permanently soiled, let this heavy-duty carbide bit remove it with ease.
- A high speed cutter with a 1/8 in. steel shank
- Carbide-grit tip provides extra bite to blast through hardened grout
- Ideal for removing grout to replace broken, marred or worn tiles
- Not intended for use above 18,000 RPM
- For ease of operation, use with Dremel grout removal attachment (model 568)
- For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down

Excellent. I use it for cutting stencil material for air brushing fishing lures…beats using and Exacto knife when you have rounded edges.

Strong bit, wish it was longer but I managed to drill what I needed to from each side.

This bit worked great for removing the excess mortar that I had to remove before I grouted my tile project.

It worked but didn’t last long

This bit worked great for removing grout in my bathroom which had tile spaced very close together.

Normally, regrouting is very difficult to do a good job. Either you use a hand grout removal tool and painstakingly remove the old grout prior to new grout, which takes a very long time or you just grout over the old and have a lousy job that looks terrible. This tool make the removal (which is the big part of the job) fast, easy and professional

Purchased this as a back up bit for the one that came with the Grout Removal Kit in case I broke the bit. The original bit held up well after removing the grout from a 64 square foot area of 7 x 9 tiles. Dremel makes a high quality bit and would always recommend the purchase of genuine Dremel parts for your Dremel brand device.

Did good job to clean grout joint before grouting.

Easy tool to work with. They do get dull and you have to put a little force behind it. Better to change the bit and use a new one. I went through 8 Bits doing a whole shower bath combination because the tip will break off with too much force

did an excellent job of removing adhesive between the small joints of my mosaic tile that came to the surface during installation of the panels.

the drill bit met my needs for grout removal. however i purchased an additional drill bit guide to help guide the depth of penetration.

I actually used it to remove thin set that squeezed out in between floor tiles. I waited for it to dry and it ground it out on low RPMs

I always use this bit

Deemed bits are all great but I find them a bit pricey. No other choices for dremel though!

While this little guy stays sharp and easily removes tough grout… if you get into a space thats a little too tight, the tip snaps off. However, thats kind of expected due to the size of it. Still giving it 5 stars.

It did its job

They work and are effective but they are fragile and brittle so they can break easily

If I had not used this bit I still would be trying to remove the grout out of my bathroom floor. Let the bit do all the work for you and take your time. You might want to buy more than one to start because they can break and you can always take the one you don’t use back.
