If you have a Dremel, this is the tool to have for removing Grout from between ceramic tiles. When grout does not setup correctly or breaks down over time due to poor setup. The bit will make the grout turn into dust when the Dremel is set on high or one step down from high. Which ever works for you.

The Dremel grout bits work great for removing grout. I am pleased with the speed and accuracy I can remove the grout. My only complaint is I wish the bit would not wear down so quickly.

Great little tool if you use correctly. Don’t use high speed and keep on a severe angle. Only complaint is they dull somewhat faster than I expected.

When I saw this, I really wasn’t sure how it was going to work. However, once I got started, it went very quickly and got the job done in short order. I love all the things my Dremel can do.

This was the only drill bit that I was able to find that will cut my grout between the tiles. Just be careful using it (wear goggles and gloves) because mines broke into 3 pieces while using it. Pushing it in and out should be fine but if you are going to use this to go up, down, or sideways – it will put a lot stress on the bit which will cause it to break. Also, use lower RPM to reduce this risk.

The drill bit was helping remove grout in the bathroom. It held up very well despite the rough use.

Wish they would last longer. There’s a 1/4″ bit also that lasts a little longer if there’s enough room between the tiles. Buy more than one bit if you have a lot of area to remove.

This bit assumes you already have the Dremel grout removal attachment. Without the attachment use of this bit will likely lead to tile damage since even with the attachment, careless use can lead to tile damage. The grout removal attachment comes with a 5/16″ bit, and this bit works much better for wider grout lines. It did a fine job until it got dull and given that the price is around $10 each, it is suggested to go slow to avoid heating the tip as much as possible to lengthen the life of the bit. I don’t think it is possible to sharpen it. Summary: works well when sharp but doesn’t last as long as I think it should. Ended up using a oscillating tool with a grout bit to finish the job.

Very good tool for removing and then repairing a specific area. Probably would not work well with a large area. Very pleased!

Removed about 12 linear feet of grout with ease. Seemed like it was still working well even towards the end of the job.
