Just one more attachment that I may never use. Was I ever wrong! I bought the Dremel 575 Right Angle attachment at a Model Airplane show in Perry Georgia. I tucked it away until one evening while working on a large model I found myself in a jam. I needed to remove excess ply wood from deep inside. The Right Angle Attachment came to mind. I placed it on my 8200 rotary tool and it fit right down inside the airplane. I used the 1/4″ drum sander to a perfect conclusion. The Right Angle Attachment never goes in the drawer again. I’ve used it over and over and it has saved me a lot of time while aiding me in completing difficult tasks. The gearing is very high quality with no vibration, Thanks Dremel!

I used the right angle attachment to cut some grout and tiles. It works great as long it’s not abused. It fit perfectly onto my old Craftsman 2-speed grinder.

This is really a cute tool.I really like the way it looks.I have had it about two weeks and it looks really nice sitting on my desk.Unfortunately it does not fit my antique Dremel Tool so I will have to save up and buy a new Dremel to find out how it works.

This tool is very helpful for getting into hard to reach places. 98% of the time I use this with a cutting wheel, cutting off screws, nails, etc. Have used it 20-30 times, so can’t speak to longevity mentioned in the other review, but have had it for a few years and it really fits a need no other tool or attachment fits.

Haven’t yet used it because I purchased it for when I would have a need, but it appears to be designed and made well. Pricing on the Dremel brand is a bit steep, but if it’s backed by quality the point is then rather moot I’d say.

I’ve been using the adapter on my Dremel 8220 for almost three years now and have several dozen hours on it with no problems. I actually use my motor tool with it more than without it. It allows me to get into tight places the motor tool won’t otherwise fit into. It also makes it easier for me to hold onto the tool for many jobs. I usually hold the housing of the adapter as well as the motor tool and never noticed it heating up. I found the instructions to be very concise and clear and had no trouble understanding them.I strongly suspect the reason so many of the square drive shafts in these are breaking is people are not putting a 1/8″ bit shank into the hole in the adapter for locking the adapter for tightening and loosening the collet and are using the lock on the motor tool itself instead. Doing so will put way too much torque on the adapter’s input shaft and damage it. Another possibility is putting to much feed pressure on the bit, increasing the amount torque on the drive shaft. These tools are not industrial air powered die grinders. If the motor tool slows down very much while using the tool, you are using too much feed pressure; back off and let the tool do the work.

I bought it for just one repair – to fix a power post on my refrigerator’s compressor. It had a large build-up of arc-deposited metal so the repair connector couldn’t slide on. Very cramped quarters. Used this with a small grinding drum – took my time – and recovered the post. Fit on my Dremel quick and easy – did what I’d hoped. I’ve had Dremel products for over 25 years.

It worked for intricate 45 angle cuts for pencil tiles. Takes some time but better then renting a tile saw.

Super accessory for your Dremel tool. I leave it on permanently because it is easier to use for seeing what you’re doing.

Works well and a bargain for the price. Great for getting into tight spaces. It should be understood however, that this is a light duty tool and doesn’t seem suited for rough or excessive hard usage. For those applications a professional heavy duty tool would be a better fit.

Works nicely for the projects I need it for. The directional adjustability is an excellent feature. It is a bit noisy but I have read that is a common complaint. I am very happy with this attachment.

The first thought in my mind while i started to write this review was ” why would something as wonderful as this not be included with the dremel tool sets, because it is possible the most useful attachment that dremel produces.”I purchase this attachment to finish a project, where i needed to get into corners of a small workpiece, and had not been able to do so with my other dremel accessories. It has since proved its worth over and over.Turn your dremel into an angle grinder!, sand tight corners, drill in hard to reach spots. This thing does it all and then some!My only complaint (other than it not being included with dremel’s rotary tool sets) is that it is a bit noisy. It makes sort of a gravely sound when it is running.but overall it is a wonderful piece to add to your dremel collection.hope this helps!
