This is an excellent tool for cutting arcs and circles with an Dremel type tool.

Pretty good tool. Wish the ruler allowed for more accurate measurement.

The cutter works pretty good overall. It could be a bit heavier duty, but works well for light to medium jobs. Was easy to setup and get cutting.

Have used it once so far but it seems so far to suit my needs

I used this tool to cut an oversized hole in 3/8 plastic, did a great job. I made several passes, adjusting the depth each time, I think this helped with making a smoother cut.

Works with my 10 year old dremel. Just have to drill 2 holes to get it started in the drywall. Works great for recessed lights.

Cuts well, but make sure you have extra bits they bust off very easy if you’re using harder woods. It doesn’t seem like its made for hard wood. Otherwise I would give it a 5

Great product. Small, light and very easy to use. Work perfectly with Milwaukee rotary tool as well. Good price, excellent quality. Definitely recommend this piece over Roto-zip.

The circle cutter attachment worked perfectly for all of my circle cuts.

It cuts round circles with clean edges for installing lights, but it makes a mess because the fan on the dremmel blows dust everywhere as the plaster dust is falling. Also, the point on the center axis pin needs to be sharper because it requires excessive force to push into the drywall.

Makes circle cutting in drywall very easy and it’s a great value! For some who didn’t think it worked well, you have to find the correct speed (Dremel has a chart) for the bit you’re using and let the tool do the work – don’t force it. It really does work better when you follow the directions and rotate it counter-clockwise to do the cutting. To ensure that the center pin didn’t move, I added some small screws, nuts, and washers through the center slot – one set at each end of the pin guide to prevent it from moving – that worked well for me. I wanted very precise cuts for speakers, so I did arcs of almost 90 deg, leaving four small tabs, then dropped some screws into the cuts to prevent the material from moving around during the remaining cuts. Because this was in the ceiling (and I was in the attic), I cut two tabs, opposite each other and then drywall-screwed some small scrap wood onto the center piece so they extended over the space where the tabs were cut. That kept the cut material from falling as I was finishing the final two tab cuts, keeping the circle perfectly clean. I took a star off for the metal-on-plastic depth screw; they put a small metal insert in for the screw, so where’s the small metal insert for the screw to meet? The soft plastic isn’t going to last as long as the rest of the tool.

A nice solid little unit with a nice price. I bought it to cut a circle in the trunk line of my heating/ac duct for a new branch. It worked well.

Used to cut circular holes in some furnace ductwork. Worked very well. Less work and no bending or stretching of the sheetmetal. Don’t know when I’ll use it again but will hang on to it, just in case…

The circle cutter is fine for light use. Be gentle with it! But it is very inexpensive and probably fits most users. To improve it (and increase the cost) would be a redesign. For example, the scale is an approximation. The distance could be measured from either the inside edge or outside edge (of the cutting bit) obviously changes the settings. The actual diameter (for me) was an approximation cut followed by little fudges and trial and error.

Used it to put a circle in a cooler to make an insulated feral cat Winter house as I saw on YouTube, and it did the job. Price was great too.
