Easy to assemble. I wish it was a little but longer to make bigger circles. I attatched mine to a yard stick that I had turned into a circle cutter to make it longer. But other then that it was helpful to clean up the lines and more precise.

Needed to cut circles in acoustic ceiling tiles for speaker installation. This worked perfectly.

I bought this tool to cut app. 2-inch to 12-inch arcs and circles in quarter-inch acrylic. I started cutting with the 561 Multipurpose cutting bit that came with the kit. Trying to make a single cut proved impossible, as the bit chattered too much. But by backing off and making 3-4 passes of increasing depth, I ended up with clean cuts. A router bit may also work better. Acrylic is not like wood, it has a tendency to melt and gum up the works if you push it too hard, so you have to be slow and careful. But I am very satisfied with the results.

Absolutely no regret about buying this. Cut the 2 3/8″ hole very precisely in 1/4″ plastic of rain barrel. Next project, cut hole in ceiling and move kitchen light over by a foot. Glad I don’t have to buy any hole saw of other sizes at all.

I have used both the Circle Cutter and the Straight Edge Guide. Nice additions to the tool box. The Circle Cutter was easy to mount onto my 395 Type 5 and get the work done. The Straight Edge Guide kept me straight and moved smoothly along the opposite edge with no hang ups.

This product worked as described. I was installing remodeling can lights in my kitchen. I needed to cut precise circles 5.5 inches. This tool allowed me to do just that. My only complaint was the ruler was marked in inches so i had to measure to insure I had it set for 5.5 inches. Otherwise it worked great.

Cut a perfect 2 3/8″ over-flow hole through 1/4″ plastic in Rain Barrel! The circle cutter is about the same price as a single hole saw of that specific size, but now I can use the same accessory over and over regardless of hole diameter. Online pictures do not do quite show how it is put together, so bought with a leap of faith in Dremel, and good-enough instructions does come with kit. The Dremel drill and chuck do have to be of correct form and size to fit into accessory holder, and to hold cutting drill bit that comes in the Circle Cutter set. The circle cutter cannot be used with the Dremel Stylus as the stylus nose is not symmetrical and the chuck is too small.
