Good for drywall cutouts but does not feel very rugged or have much power. Ok for light home use. Handle feels more comfortable than rotozip

I bought this tool because I had a gift card. It sat for a couple years. Recently I took it out and found several projects to use it for. It has made many projects easier. It had a great guid used for cutting straight or circles. My only issue is the depth adjustment. It is very hard to make accurate or small adjustments.

While I haven’t used the tool that many times as yet, I can see that it has the potential to perform many tasks that I need to do. As an apartment building manager, I sometimes need to cut wallboard and drill holes in tile. As a hobby tool, I will use it as a small router in woodworking.

This was a refurbished product, but I couldn’t tell it. The tool was in great condition and worked just as well as I hoped it would. I had to give it a ding in quality because the bit broke while I was using it. I purchased extra routing bits, and the tool did an excellent job.

Indispensable and a must have for the home projects. It is a capable asset in more projects than I had expected. I should have purchased this years ago. The only issue I had was the included collet wrench was the wrong size. This is a fantastic value, I should have purchased more for gifts.

Can’t tell that this tool was refurbished, it’s just like new. Works very well. The only negative is the depth guide gets stuck and doesn’t move smoothly, so it is difficult to precisely set the depth. I’m not sure if this is a design flaw, or an imperfection with the refurbish. Also, dust and heat can cause the collet to stick to the nut, so instead of loosening the collet the whole thing comes off. I had to put the bit in a vice and turn the nut to break it free.

So far I’ve only used it on light projects, but the tool works as advertised, and I got a refurbished one of for a fraction of the regular cost. All the parts where there.

Every project I tackle this tool saves me so much time. No changing tools. Changing bits is a dream. I can focus on my creation rather than my machinery. And so easy to use, not too heavy either.

I’ve had the Trio for a while now. I’ve tried to use it on a lot of different projects but I find that it’s very limited because of the lack of bits. I prefer using it as a router but it’s so hard to make detailed cuts since I can’t buy any accessories or bits that are thinner than the standard. There’s a lot of potential there but just some simple limiting factors that hurt the overall experience.

Excellent features and the price was right for a tool that I will not use everyday.
