Great kit for engraving wood, plastic, metal, stone and glass. It has an array of bits that work well for most needs. I find I need to practice with it on scrap before doing the real thing, the dremel can easily ‘run’ across the surface. Bits are great quality and have good life.

I have been updating things around the house for about a year. I wanted to use something easy, as well as not have to go to the garage every time I needed to cut, drill, or carve something. I bought the 11 piece carving/engraving set for my husbands Dremel hoping it would cut down on all the tools I always needed. It did! I was able to use many of the pieces in this set to shape the crushed glass tile the way I needed. When the wet saw made a cut that chipped the crushed glass, I was able to use the Dremel with these bits to fix the tiles! It saved time, money and my sanity!!

The diamond attachment is very useful to use for my Dremel.8220. I use the diamond bit to drill stone and glass. Make sure you use water to cool bit. I use the drill press 220-01 with the 8220 and diamond bit to drill holes

It needs to be twice the size. Every bit that comes with this set should have more than one. Especially the smaller bits as they seem to dull more quickly

Don’t waste your money on cheap, imported copies. Dremel brand cutters are sharp, concentric, and stay sharp. Poor quality tools are dangerous. These cutters are high quality every time.

This set only includes 2 that are diamond tip. I had assumed because it was “carving/engraving kit for stone and glass” that it was diamond tip. I may return. It’s not a bad set, but just thought I would put the word out there for those of you who read reviews as I read reviews which were good… I just didn’t catch that they were not diamond tip and somehow I think that is important for longevity?
