i got this kit because I use several of the bits for various things: sharpening and cleaning blades, removing light rust, polishing small metal parts, light duty buffing or detail sanding on period furniture.I was very disappointed with other brands of bits and hoped that Dremel would provide better quality. These are OK. Not much better, if any, than the cheapo bits I used to get. I’ll stick with these simply because it’s a nice useful collection and the flanges fit securely. (unlike some other brands) But overall, I can’t say they are worth much more. It’s a good deal if you need all the versatility as I do, for many jobs. If you have only a few special jobs, then you might be better off going with individual sets.

The Dremel 160 piece rotary accessory kit is comprised of the following:1 – Part 407 – ½” Drum Sanding Mandrel15 – Part 408 – ½” 60 Grit Sanding Bands15 – Part 432 – ½” 120 Grit Sanding Bands1 – Part 430 – ¼” Drum Sanding Mandrel15 – Part 431 – ¼” 60 Grit Sanding Bands15 – Part 438 – ¼” 120 Grit Sanding Bands1 – Part 932 – Aluminum Oxide Grinding Stone1 – Part 952 – Aluminum Oxide Grinding Stone1 – Part 84922 – Silicone Carbide Grinding Stone1 – Part EZ402 – EZ Lock Mandrel1 – Part 401 – Mandrel1 – Part 402 – Mandrel with Screw1 – Part EZ495 – EZ Twist Nose Cap Wrench1 – Wrench1 – Part 191 – High Speed Cutter2 – Part EZ456 – EZ Lock Fiberglass Reinforced Cit-Off Wheels for Metal1 – Part EZ476 – EZ Lock Fiberglass Reinforced Cit-Off Wheels for Plastic1 – Part 428 – Carbon Steel Brush5 – Part 414 – ½” Felt Polishing Wheel5 – Part 429 – 1” Felt Polishing Wheel1 – Part 421 – Polishing Compound25 – Part 411 – Sanding Disc 180 grit25 – Part 412 – Sanding Disc 220 grit25 – Part 413 – Sanding Disc 240 gritThe EZ Lock cutting wheels work very well. You can also buy them in a standalone set. I have used them to cut through copper water pipe and rusted fixtures. The sanding drums stay attached to the mandrels during use. The EZ Twist Nose Cap is an interesting idea but to me is more hassle than it is worth. You replace the existing screw-on cap of the tool with this new cap. Then instead of using a wrench to loosen/tighten the accessories you unscrew the EZ Twist Nose Cap, slide it up onto the chuck and twist to tighten/loosen, then slide it back down and screw it back onto the tool. Sure it saves you from misplaced wrenches but it takes more time to use. This is a great kit if you perform mostly sanding and polishing tasks and it is a tremendous price savings over individual part purchases.

I received a Dremel as a gift with limited accessories and this kit is a great addition. A very nice assortment of accessories that comes very handy for many projects. I recently made some beehives and was very happy to have these for some fine tuning. Not something that you need every day but when you do, it’s great to have them. I think is a must for any woodworker.

This is a nice dremel tool set that includes a lot of expendable pieces frequently used by me. Because of that I found it to be a good value. I use a lot of the sanding and polishing disks in the kind of artwork I do. This is a good deal compared to buying them loose or in small batches at the store. You can’t tell from the picture how many of the sanding drums there are but there are a lot! Also, it’s handy to have the extra metal cutting wheels as I trim small metal pieces in the work I do and it’s nice to have the extras on hand.

I have used most of these attachments in the last month or so, from the large and small sanding wheels to the cutting discs. I especially like the cutting wheels as you can get a very accurate cut without wasting material by cutting with a thick disc. The attachment point for the cutting wheels is a nice improvement over the old style that used a mandrel with a small machine screw that held the disc onto the mandrel. The new one requires no tools to change the wheels, just push in and turn 1/4 turn and the disc locks onto the mandrel. I’ve don’t have much success with the polishing/buffing wheels, but I think they are only meant for very very small jobs.

This little kit has lots of nifty tools to use in your Dremel and is a great value when you compare the price to individual items. I frequently use the cutoff disks and go through them like candy. This kit has a good supply of all the items I need and will save me many trips to the store, no doubt. If you need a special tool, it is likely in this very handy kit. I especially like the storage case it comes in.Very handy!

The first feature I like is the case itself. It hangs on a pegboard very nicely. They also have a nice easy to understand color coded chart on the back of the case to show which attachment is best for the task you have at hand. The easy lock system makes it very easy to change the cutting wheels. I needed to cut PVC from the inside out and the cutting wheel for plastic did the job with ease. The quality of the parts I’ve used to date seem durable and well built. I used a grinding wheel to take a sharp edge of a glass piece and it smoothed the edge effortlessly. It’s nice have so many accessories at your fingertips.

This 160 piece accessory kit offers a wide range of attachments for your rotary tool. Attachments are available for cutting, cleaning/polishing, grinding or sharpening, sanding, and carving/engraving. The storage case keeps the attachments organized and offers clear visibility of them allowing one to quickly pick and remove the appropriate attachment for the task at hand. Well done Dremel!

The Dremel Tool Accessory Kit has everything I need and some things I can’t wait to use. I will admit that I am not an expert when I use my dremmel so when I do use it I tend to go through accessories pretty quick. Every thing in this pack is high quality and all useful. This is the best all around pack for me There is enough accessories to last me a long time and I can handle any job I need to.
