Needed something to enlarge the holes on a ceramic Christmas tree ….. this did the trick. In fact it cut a groove in whatever it came in contact with …… had to do a little touch up!!!

This bit is an excellent buy and the price and performance are an A+. I use this bit to drill small holes in bottles that I fabricate into lamps and they give me the “bangs for the bucks” that I need.

I use my Dremel tool for carving/etching slate and stone. I have picked up several of the 30-pack assortment of no-name diamond bits for a little less than the price of a single Dremel 7144 bit. There’s no comparison: The Dremel-branded bits outlast the no-names AND give me consistency. The no-name assortment often times have bent shafts, incomplete deposition of diamond “dust,” and wear out quickly (sometimes within minutes). The 7144 is my “go-to” bit for much of my finer work.

The drill did the job.

Drill was easy to use with dremel 8220 worked well to drill holes in sea shells

Overall a good product. The tip does seem to lose some of its grit quicker than I would like. Perhaps the stone I am carving is harder than I thought. It still retains enough grit to engrave and carve, just slightly slower.

I used this for some of the detail work I did on a tile job. I removed some tile and added more tile to reach the ceiling. Then someone is going to come in and glaze the tub and all the tile to match.

great

Worked well on the wall tile. Stayed sharp. It did not work as well on the floor tile. The floor tile must have been harder.

I have NEVER had an ISSUE with them
