I use these bits for cleaning out and smoothing the edges of small pits in my travertine floor tiles, allowing me to subsequently fill the pits. They last for maybe 75 to 100 pits before becoming dull. This tool is the only thing I have found that allows me to do this easily.

The diamond wheel point didn’t last very long while sanding a rough edge of a mirror.

I used this bit to drill into stained glass. Object was to create holes to thread fishing line for hanging pieces of glass to make a windchime. Used a drill press and dipped glass in water which worked great. You have to go slow and turn the glass over before it comes through from the first side or you risk breaking the glass. So far made 20 holes and only broke one piece.
