For fine detail work, cutting, engraving, carving, touch-up and finishing. Use on wood, jade, ceramic, glass, hardened steel, semi-precious stones and other hard materials. Bits are covered with diamond particles. Ideal for fine detail work on wood, jade, ceramic, glass, hardened steel and other hard materials. Removes material quickly and easily.
- For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down this provides plenty of shank for the collet or chuck to hold onto the bit
- Secure objects to a stable surface while working
- Use higher speeds for hard woods and slower speeds for metals
- If chattering occurs, increase speed

Used them to drill holes in glass brick. They worked quite well but the process shortened the life of the bits. The fault of the project, not the bits.

I have been wanting to try etching/engraving on bottles and flat glass for quite a while. I got this Diamond Wheel Point Set for my Dremel tool to give it a try. My Dremel tool only has 2 speeds, so I used the high speed with the pointed bit and practiced on a small round piece of glass. As you can tell from my attached pictures, my etching is far from perfect, but not bad for a 1st try. These bits are coated in diamond particles and they etched the glass very quickly wit very ltitle effort. The quality of the bits is superior, but then I would expect no less from a dremel product. Furthermore, these bits can also be used on wood, jade, ceramic, hardened steel, semi-precious stones, as well as glass. I plan to practice, practice, practice etching on glass a lot to become more proficient and steady so I can make etched glass ornaments for my grandkids for Christmas! Very nice product!

These items are being used to etch/engrave kiln fired glass art work. All is great as they work just as one would expect of diamond imbeded cutting tools to function.

This was just what the doctor ordered. I was working on an aluminum piece trying to open up a port and was doing so with a different attachment. I found these and decided to give them a try. I am glad I did as they made removing the material much easier and I was able to get the detail work I needed done quickly and efficiently. I ended up sanding it down a bit after to get more of the finished polished look I was after but this made getting to that point easy.

I received the Diamond set fast, needed to finish something I started with a cheaper set. I had purchased a couple bits from Harb**. Frei*** and I was right with my first thought before buying But comparing these Dremel bits to those, BUY Dremel. I finished a project that I wanted to engrave for a marker made of man-made marble stone, I marked out where I needed to grind away the finish and the round bit was better for this job. I messed around with a bottle to see what the pointed engraver would do and it made some dust but for me it was hard to keep steady at any RPM, I’m not that steady. 5 STARS for the price and it worked for me.

I got these primarily to do some carving on ceramic tile. I’ve mostly been using the one with the round tip. The one we’ve been using has about two hours on it with no noticeable signs of wear. The pointed one has about 20 minutes on it but I’m sure it’s made of the same material and will last just as long. We’re using it with an adjustable speed Dremmel tool on the highest speed without any problem.

I used the set to engrave initials on my sockets, wrenches, ratchets, and other hand tools. I already had a Dremel tool but not the engraver. Didn’t want to buy a separate tool so I went with the diamond point set. The set worked well enough to my satisfaction. Some of the engravings are a bit hard to see unless held in good light. Actually worked better than expected given the hardness of the tools. I used the pointed bit a lot more than the ball. Could have done a better job by concentrating more but I had well over 100 items to initial and didn’t want to take all day. I could not tell any degradation after all the use.

This 2pcs set is much cheaper than buying each separately. These are useful for drilling holes in semi-precious gemstones & nephrite jade. I used the ball wheel point to drill small & shallow dents on black onyx & nephrite jade. After that, I used other drill bits (not from this set) to deepen & enlarge the holes. The pointed wheel point is useful for enlarging existing holes of stones. Remember to always submerge the stones in water & use cordless tool just to be safe. If you use corded tools, be very careful not to get electrocuted !!!!!

Etches glass easily; seems good quality; packaging can be re-used for storing if cut carefully.

With all of this time at home, I’ve been able to spend more time crafting and making jewelry. This diamond point worked perfectly for piercing glass and was exactly what I needed. I love my Dremel!

I bought these to carve eggshells. A Dremel isn’t the best tool for that – too unwieldy – but they do work.I also tried using them by themselves, as hand tools, as an experiment. It was slow going, and obviously the lack of a proper handle makes it awkward; but they work fine that way too (at least for eggshells). Easier to control, no vibration, and perfectly adequate for dabbling before deciding whether to buy a set of diamond files 🙂
