Compact wireless unit, great for small tasks. For my use it is not a replacement for a full size corded unit but it is a great tool for the price. Battery held a charge and works well in tight areas. Would be nice if it came with more accessories but again for the price I have no complaints.

This Dremel works just fine. I like the feel (lightweight) and it’s easy to use. My only fault is that the main purpose of this model is for trimming pet nails and it’s a little too loud. My Labrador is used to having me “grind” his nails versus “clipping” but the sound of this unit freaks him out a little bit, making it harder to do. I’ve used a cheaper, less powerful battery operated grinder and he doesn’t mind it at all. I chose the Dremel for a little extra power in hopes that it would be quicker. I’m sure it probably would be if my dog wasn’t scared of the sound. Hopefully he’ll get used to it.

I have 2 beagles whose nails grow overnight!!! It was becoming costly taking them for a nail trim. This did the job !!! I turned it on near them for a few days to get them used to the slight noise. Then I used it!! They don’t mind at all!!!!! Great investment

The cordless feature is great for working outside at the potting bench. The 7300 makes fast work of adding and enlarging drainage holes in pots.

I’ve had a couple of weeks to test out the 7300-N/5 and use it on several different projects around the house and in the workshop. Pros: After running the tool on high for quite some time while doing some sanding, I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life and how well it maintained it’s charge. If you’re familiar with Dremel’s collets, you’ll be happy to know that you can interchange any of your previously owned accessories or pick up a few specialized ones to get the job done. As a bonus, it does come with a few common accessories right out of the box to get you started. If you’re new to Dremel or rotary tools, you’ll be happy to know that with this tool they took the guesswork out of RPMs and made it simple to control with just a high or low setting. Lastly, I really like the feel of 7300-N/5 as it feels very balanced and comfortable in your hand.Cons: There is quite a bit of vibration on the high speed setting making me believe that using this tool for more than just a few minutes might prove to be a bit on the uncomfortable side. The plastic casing on the outside of the tool quite hard and I think a little softer material on the grip would really improve the feel. Although not a deal breaker, the power switch is a little sloppy when trying to turn the tool off and on. I found myself sliding it into the other speed on accident. Lastly, the product does not come with any sort of storage container for the tool or the accessories. Of course, this isn’t a problem if you own any of Dremel’s larger tools. If you’re an advanced user, you might find being limited to 2 speeds to be a con. but with a tool this size, it really feels like it would be unnecessary to have more. Overall, I really like the Dremel 7300-N/5 and feel that the versatility of it will make it an indispensable tool in my workshop. The cons mentioned above would not deter me from purchasing it and I feel that for the price point, you can get a lot of work done with this handy compact tool.

I bought this for small jobs and hobbies. So far it hasn’t disappointed. I’ve used it for cutting, grinding, sanding and buffing. It’s taken on everything I’ve thrown at it. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Best feature is being cordless. Great for model building and sanding small intricate items. Battery has a good lifespan and charges quickly. Two speed function so no guessing on speed. Worked well on wood, clay and plastic models.

I purchased my last one in 2007, I just now needed to replace it. I wish the kits came with it, would be nice to experiment without buying more. I primarily use this only for my dogs nails.

I’ve used this 3 times now. My dogs seem to tolerate the dremel much better than nail clippers. 5 nail appointments at the groomer cost the same as purchasing the dremel, so I think this is a good investment. No issues with battery running out when in use. A little difficult at first to figure out how to attach the grinder barrel, but I think will get easier with practice.

I purchased this after first purchasing two 755-01 batteries that are supposed to fit Dremel 750 & 7300 series rotary tools. They didn’t fit my model 750 Dremel rotary tool, but I needed one so I ordered this model online. I have only used it twice, but it’s enough to be able to give my opinion. If you are only going to be doing light duty work, then this should be fine, otherwise I would suggest getting a higher voltage cordless or a coded model. It got quite warm while cutting the tips off of 12 #8 screws, hot enough that some people will put it down until it cooled. If I was to do it over, I would return the two batteries and purchase one of their 8000 series cordless tools.

It makes trimming my dogs nail much easier. The dremmel is easy use and handle. The only thing I regret is that I didnt buy one sooner.

The Dremel 7300-N/5 4.8V arrived while I was out of state and I could not wait to get home and test this new tool. I have always been a Dremel fan and hoped this new more compact cordless model would find a good place in my tool chest.I put the Mini Mite through several tests. I used it to drill small holes to hang pictures, to polish up an old piece of jewelry, to sand off sharp edges on a new appliance and several other small chores around the house. I found the Mini to be a great fit for these types of daily jobs. Small and compact enough to stick in my pocket and get small jobs done that normally I might have to put off until I had time to dig out a larger tool. A definite plus to finishing small tasks that otherwise might not get done in a day.I then moved on to some larger tasks like carving, grinding and sanding. I found the Mini to be light and small enough in the hand that I neither got tired or hand cramps from prolonged use. I still found the unit to be a bit awkward for me in tight places but that is a personal preference. When doing finer detail work, I prefer a smaller pen-like unit which I have greater control over. Prolonged use did eat up the battery charge more quickly, especially at higher speed but that was expected and easily remedied if you have a couple of spare batteries fully charged and on hand. Given how small and compact this unit is, I would definitely pick up extra batteries and a case. I would not hesitate to throw it in my car or bag to take with me for both my carving hobby and any emergency uses that may pop up.While I found the two speed limitation a bit frustrating, it certainly did all the small jobs I threw at it with no complaints. When working on my carvings, or other small projects, I prefer more control over speed to ensure I do not damage anything, and that is another personal preference. Charging is easy with the direct plug-in charger and small batteries and charging time is normal. Larger projects wore the batteries out more quickly and could be harder on the motor if I pressed too hard. I err on the side of caution with all my tools, so when I feel I am pushing the limits of a tool, I switch to a larger more powerful model and conserve the tools for their best uses.I am glad to have had the opportunity to try this new compact rotary tool. It’s a great addition to my larger corded model. I can now finish up many projects and repairs more quickly and efficiently. If you have a lot of small things to do around your home, I highly recommend this compact Dremel Mini Mite. It’s certainly a welcome tool to my workbench!

I have three dogs that hate getting their nails done. This Dremel made it so much easier because it’s powerful, so you don’t have to press hard to get the job done.

Overall I found the cordless dremel to be equal in usability to the corded version, with a slightly smaller body and of course only two speeds as opposed to being variable speed. Plus the added benefit of portability makes this tool a definite win. I would say that there really isn’t a comparable competitor as far as this device goes.Physical attributes:The cordless dremel is very close in size to the corded version. The tip where the bit goes is perhaps 1/4 inch shorter, which brings the neck of the tool closer to what you are working on, which affects clearance a bit, but not by much. Of course, if clearance is an issue you can always use the flex shaft attachment, which would eliminate the affects of this difference. The base if the tool with battery in is about 1/2 or 3/4 inch shorter than the corded version. Overall, the tool fills slimmer and more ergonomic in the hand when using over the corded version.Performance:As far as use, the two speeds seem to be a good choice. I have not experienced any issues in using the device. Battery life seems to be very good, I have not had it die on me while using it, and I charge it in between uses. Using the device feels the same as the corded version, with the exception of the speed adjustments.Battery charger:The battery charger is pretty compact, with it being a wall plug with prongs on the back. The only downside I might could see with the wall charger, is that the prongs don’t fold into the charger. So if you were to take it with you or store it instead of leaving it in an outlet, that could affect your portability some.

I love this new seemed. I will probably stop going to groomers now. My dogs are less stressed now. Sometimes getting the it secure is a bit challenging, but okay with enough adjustment to get it snuggly in place.
