Very happy with our recent purchase of the Pet Dremel. Very easy to use and it is not big and too heavy to hold in your hand. We have three dogs and purchased this specifically for the one dog who hates having her toenails done. She does complain as much now since we got the dremel.

Used once so far and very satisfied. Used on low setting and worked very good. Establishment of a good fulcrum while using will help stabilize the tool, as is needed with most powered rotary tools. Two person needed until dog gets used to it, used peanut butter on spoon while using and worked great!

The Dremel 7300-N/5 4.8V Minimite rotary tool kit has been a great addition to our tools. The mini mite charge in a few hours and was ready to go. I just started a few dyi products and the mini-mite was perfect for the small details and hard to reach places.

Love that it fits right in your hand with no tangling cords! Very powerful motor for being battery operated. Easy on and off attachments. Highly recommended for the “HandyWoman” of the house!

I’ve gone from traditional nail trimmers to this based on a friend’s recommendation. Glad I did!

I’ve been so used to my “big,” plug-in Dremel that at first this felt too light and underpowered. It’s definately not for those bigger cutting/grinding projects, but works great for those quick, light-use projects. There have been lots of times I would just grab a file instead of the plug-in Dremel to quickly sand something down in the house because it seemed like too much to plug it in, find an extension cord, etc… but this is great to just grab and use so I find myself going it it more often than my big one now. The only thing I don’t like is that the speed switch lacks the adjustability that my big Dremel has. This just has a High- and Low-speed setting, which works most of the time, but sometimes I wish for a few settings in-between.

Perfect for trimming my Boxer dogs nails. Has enough power. It came with the unit to recharge. I love it!

The Minimite is a great little portable tool. It only comes with a couple of the basic bits, but since it has the same connector as other Dremel rotary tools it’s easy to purchase a multi-bit kit and have everything you need. The only problem I have with the Minimite is that it has a Ni-Cad battery. Would much rather have a Li-Ion battery. Maybe they’ll offer one as an “upgrade”?

Replaced an older one of 10 years!

Good product to “trim” dogs’ nails. It should have a light to illuminate what is being sanded—like other Dremel tools do—so that you can more easily see the dog’s nail and when you are approaching the quick.

Tried out this battery powered Dremel tool and I love not having a cord to mess with! Only have had a chance to practice with it but it fits nicely in my hand, easy to be precise, small learning curve. Great for beginners. Plenty of other craft specific tool kits from dremel so it’s nice that you can buy this and get whatever tools you need and not too many pieces you’ll never use.

I got the 7300-N/5 4.8 V MiniMite® Rotary Tool Kit to review. It”s a basic rotary tool for small easy jobs. I used it to help my grandson, Liam ( six years old), work on a pumpkin project. We carved a hole through a Styrofoam pumpkin. The size and weight of the tool were perfect for the job. I used two of the provided attachments, the pointed grinder and sandpaper finishing. I fully charged the battery before starting the project and had plenty of life to finish the job. I supervised my grandson and let him sand a little on the inside. He had no problem figuring out how to use the tool. A little more practice and he will be a pro. Of course we had safety glasses on. This tool will make a fine addition to my tool chest. Or the start of my grandson’s tool collection.
