I used to bring my fur child in every month to get his nails done but then the pandemic hit and I ordered this. This is easier to use than a regular clipper and I save money by doing it myself. After about 4 months, like other reviews the charger/battery died so I contacted Dremel. They had me send my Dremel in and returned it fixed. Great customer service!

I use it on my Boxer. He has thicker nails and it takes a little longer, but it works well.

I love that I can now take care of my dogs nails in just a few minutes. It is fairly quiet and removes a fair amount off the nails per use. I hope to have her nails back in shape in about a month as I can only remove a small amount at a time. do not keep the product on the nails for long as it will create some heat. Just a couple seconds at a time will suffice. Also use the slower speed as it creates less friction and is even quieter.

I had been using my ‘regular’ dremel tool to do my dog’s nails until it stopped working. Looked for another one to take it’s place and found this.. works better than my old one for this purpose.. lightweight, quieter and cordless. Glad I found this little gem!

Excellent dremel for doing my pupper’s nails! It is moderately quiet and has enough power on low to effectively grind down my skittish dog’s nails. It is very easy to use, and I was initially skeptical b/c I had tried another brand years ago, and my dog freaked out.Granted he has been to the groomers for his nail trim every month for the last 7 years, but still, this dremel is much smoother and easier to control. A helpful tip to remember: only grind each nail for 2-3 seconds,(maybe 4), b/c the nails will get hot and uncomfortable for your pup. Make a two to three full sweeps of the nails, rather than grind each nail for too long. I also use a groomer’s inverted L-shaped pole to leash my pup’s head to so he doesn’t try to nip me. Wish I had found this tool years ago-the $$$ I could have saved!

We used to use clippers on our dog’s nails, and he hated it, plus there was always the chance of nicking the quick, but the Dremel is a much easier and humane way of trimming his nails. It’s quiet too! No more tense moments for us or the bully 🙂
