I ordered and received 2 batteries. One works perfectly. The other only holds a charge for a short period of time. As a pet groomer I rely on these batteries to do an effective job grinding dog nails. It’s counterproductive to have a new battery fail after 2 feet. The working battery deserves 5 stars.

I’m happy all around . My battery was delivered quickly, it’s the right one and it is performing as expected-like the original.I did notice, not that it made any real difference, but the parts that were blue on my original battery and in the sample picture on the Home Depot website, with the new one, those parts are black like the rest of the battery. Not a big deal but they were not the same color.

My first Dremel lasted me 13 years and I loved it. The battery finally couldn’t hold a charge which was logical to me. They do wear out. I bought the closest model I could to the old one as I couldn’t buy a replacement battery for the old model. I use it on my dogs’ toenails. If a dog gives me trouble, I’m lucky if the battery charge lasts to finish all four feet. I have to recharge for another dog. Very disappointing.

I’m not sure how long I have owned this tool however I have only used it once and the battery will not accept a charge. It did run for about a minute and then drained completely. Very disappointed since I recently purchased an accessory kit for a project I had intended on doing today. Not sure I will replace the battery based on what I have read here but I did have plans to become a Dremel Pro which are now in question.
