I bought this kit less than 6 months ago and the first time I used it, it was great ( except the battery died quickly). This was the only time it worked correctly. Battery won’t hold a charge for more than 15 minutes.

Having read reviews on dremel replacement batteries on other sites, I was skeptical as to what I would be getting (many had commented that they ended up with a battery that did not fit their tool or didn’t last long). But I was also having this sent to the store for pick up (free shipping and I could make sure I had the right item before receiving it). I figured I would take the chance. I brought the tool with me and after inspecting it and thinking it probably really was the right battery, the people at service helped me open the package and I tried it out. It fits! It works! I don’t have to buy a new tool just to replace a battery pack. So for me, good value AND great Home Depot service department. I can’t say how long it will last…. too early for that.

The first few times I plugged it in to charge it initially, it wouldn’t charge (different outlets, etc) but I knew the charger worked. But after I jiggled it, it finally took a charge and has worked great as a spare for my Dremel 7700.
