I bought this unit several weeks ago and I am very happy with it. Only thing I wish the unit had would be variable speed rather than just fast and slow

Drill works great, my only complaint would be that I have to charge the battery after each use. Highly recommended this for medium to large breeds.

Received this when I returned home from a trip. Plugged it up to charge and once’s charged very easy to use. Got the attachment for filing dogs claws down. And it works wonders once the dog stays still. All in all this is a wonderful little tool to have and use. Would recommend this to anyone

Packaging is average and protected the product well. Product was well described on the outside of the packaging. The information provided was informative and a person should be able to quickly decide if this product would fit their needs.Relatively easy to assemble . The instructions are technical and well written. I was able to easily follow the instructions and start using the product quickly. Each accessory included with the product has detailed information in the manual. The manual has multiple charts and drawings to assist in assembly and use. I feel most individuals will not have any issues using the manual/charts/drawings to assemble and use the product. It took approximately 3 hours to get a full charge on the battery which I feel is about average for the normal cordless rotary tool and is in line with the instruction manual. The product did arrive with a minimal charge that doesn’t last long. I recommend fully charging the battery before the first use. The charger LED will flash while charging and turn solid when fully charged. The only issue I have with the charger is that it’s a wall charger. I prefer a charging stand over a wall charger. This is a light duty rotary tool with two power settings; Hi and Lo. I would prefer it had a variable speed control rheostat. This product is great for model building, jewelry making or light wood working using other attachments/tips from Dremel. My other Dremel accessories easily attach to this rotary tool. This unit is cordless so it’s not as powerful as a corded version but works great for what it’s designed to do. It is well designed and has an ergonomic fit in your hands. I did note a few issues with the product, 1) Shaft Lock Button can be hard to depress. You have to press the very top of the button and for a person with good hand strength it’s not a problem. I had my wife push it and she found it hard to depress and hold while changing out an accessory. 2) The rotary tool will slow down/stop as the battery drains. Maybe Dremel could use technology that will keep the motor at 100% instead of slowing down as the battery drains. 3) The battery clips into the bottom of the tool. If you have your hand in the right place with enough pressure the battery is easy to eject. So far I have used this tool to carved wood, cut vinyl tile, sand wood, drill holes into acrylic and as long as the battery is fully charged it performed as described. As stated above as the battery life drains so does the performance. It will stop working if you cut or grind non-stop for an extended period of time. I found the battery life to be around 15 – 20 minutes of use on Hi setting and 40 – 45 minutes on Lo setting. The tool is perfect for small projects around the house or on my work bench. From a power/performance standpoint this unit performs much as I would expect from a battery powered rotary tool. The product comes with 15 accessories and a plastic storage box. Each accessory is described in detail and the manual has instruction for use. I found it easy to swap out the accessories. Overall I would recommend this rotary tool for anyone who has small hobbies using wood, plastics, acrylics and/or ceramics. You could also use the tool with the Pet Grooming Kit (PGK) to groom animal nails although it will take some work to get the animal use to the sounds/vibrations.

Nice little tool for our grandson’s first time. Lacking a little in the power but for the price that’s to be expected.

I was tired of having to bring my dog in every few weeks in to get his nails trimmed down. Now I can safely grind them down at home. The attachment will work any Dremel tool and was a breeze to attach.

This is a “Must Have,” tool for everyday use. This Dremel comes with a sharpening guide, to easily sharpen your gardening shears. The Cordless Dremel is small and light-weight, making it easy to use for long hours, without tiring out your wrist and hands. This is, especially, beneficial for smaller people and women. The compact size of the Dremel, fits into my Dremel workbox. This workbox, goes with me to many Craft Shows. Since the Cordless Dremel is so versatile, it has become my “go-to” tool. The Dremel has two settings, Hi and Low. The high speed is very powerful for a quick job. The low speed had just the right amount of power to complete a long, delicate, silversmithing project, from start to finish.

I tried out the Dremel Cordless Rotary Tool 7700-1/15 7.2 V to make a wood flute fetish block for a Native American Wood Flute.I found that the 7700 Rotary Tool was very light weight & easy to use for doing the carving of the wood block, and with the 2 speeds worked great, and i think the finished project i choose to test it out on came out great!!
