I have had a Dremel 7300 for a number of years now, but I got a new Dremel 7700 because of the 7.2V battery and the higher RPMs the device was capable of. I wasn’t sure if I’d notice a difference between the two products (I was skeptical, admittedly) but boy was I wrong. The Dremel 7700 can achieve rotational speeds of 20,000 RPM, which is enough to take care of practically anything I could throw at it.I first used it along with the AT01-PGK pet grooming attachment, which didn’t require many RPMs to trim our dog’s nails. Needless to say, it chewed through those nails pretty easily. Next, I decided to use it to work on a diorama project my daughter had due at school, and the Dremel 7700 was able to easily handle the intricate carvings we needed to do in both foam and wood.Lastly, I decided to use a cutoff wheel on the Dremel 7700 and cut through a lock my 7 year old daughter accidentally put on her diary (while locking the key inside a compartment in the diary) and it made short work out of that lock.While I still prefer corded tools for longer, heavier-duty work, the Dremel 7700 is a splendid cordless tool that gives anyone enough juice to tackle practically any job they need to do, with a battery that’s not going to need to be charged every 20 minutes.

This tool can handle any project thrown at it! Versatile and mobile without the cord attached! Used anywhere from hobbies to shop work. Of course the more strenuous the task, the shorter the battery lasted, but got the jobs done.

This Dremel Rotary kit is a great tool to have in your tool supply. I love that it’s cordless, and allows you to access different angles while working on detailed work without being incumbrenced with a cord. It is lightweight in the hand, yet powerful enough to get the job done. The multi bits that come in this kit are very easily interchangeable.I love using Dremel tools for intricate wood carvings, and wooden jewelry. I love the cutting disc, because it helps getting into small crevices. Sanding in delicate small areas, like in scroll work in furniture is perfect with this tool. I totally recommend getting this as a good basic tool set.

The Dremel Model 7700 MultiPro Cordless Rotary tool is powerful, compact, and fun to use. I have sharpened my pruner blades to perfection in a fraction of the time of using a file and more precise than using a large grinder. The cutoff wheels work great on small jobs like cutting off brass pins flush. I can get down to where there is no damage to the service at all. The battery charges fast and hold a charge for a very good amount of time. i look forward to buying more bits for this tool. It makes work fun.

The drill was just what I thought it would be. Perfect. This model doesnt go as fast as the other, more expensive models, but I trim my miniature Daschounds nails with it and she doesnt like the super high speed. I recommend this drill.

I got the 7700 to go with the AT01-PGK Pet Grooming Nail Guard Attachment. Like all dremel tools, this one works well. I use the 7700 to cleanup my 3D prints. Being cordless is a big help. With the wide range of attachments, I can always find the right one for what I need. The lawn mower and garden tool sharpener was a bonus. I tried it out on my mower blade, and saved me a trip to the store.

I have owned 3 similar Dremmel tools of this type. The problem has been battery life, which has been horrible. The battery must be constantly charged. Outside the charger, it runs down quickly. With use the batter runs down quickly. Overall battery life very short. If anyone can provide me with the name of another similar tool, I will try it. I keep buying Dremmels because when the batter operates, the tool is great.
