I just bought this tool this week and used it for the first time on my Irish Wolfhound who has very hard thick nails. The dremel worked great at grinding her nails. I have used a Wahl brand grinder on her nails before, but since her nails are very hard it would continuously stall. But with the dremel, it cut through without problem not stalling once. Please take your time though when using this and follow the directions. It can make yours dogs nails very hot so you need to cut in 3 second intervals as suggested in the manual. Also keep it on the 1st setting for nails. Like i said, her nails are very hard (part of the breed standard), and the 1st setting cut through very well. It is also fairly quiet, more quiet than my other brand nail grinder. I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review

I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review. This tool works as advertised. I just got it so i cant vouch for longevity yet but dremel has a good reputation so i do expect it to last. The paw/ nail attachment is a great idea.

When I opened the box, I was excited to get started using the pet nail trimmer! I have a golden retriever, Cooper, who’s front nails are always longer than the back nails, so he sometimes scratches me with them. He did not like the noise of the tool at first, but quickly became adjusted to it (it really is quite, but his curiosity got the better of him!). Now, he loves to get his nails trimmed and shows everyone how proud he is of his trimmed nails!

I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review.I’ve used Dremel tools before and I’ve used cheaper knock offs but nothing compared to a real Dremel. I tried to use my other dremel tool, but its clunky with the cord and a little too loud. The Dremel 7760 PawControl is a great tool too have since it’s cordless, comes with a guard, and it isn’t loud. The guard captures the dust that flies off too. I’m still trying to get my puppy used to it. Putting a little peanut butter on it daily while it’s on helps. I am able to use it if I give her a bully stick which pre-occupies her while I grind it but I want to get to a point where she’s 100% comfortable with it. Totally worth the buy if you’re willing to put the time in to get your dog used to it, or if your dog is already used to an electric grinding tool.

I am excited to report that my Pomeranian who hates having his nails trimmed tolerates this well. I am knocking it down a star because the manual is far to difficult to understand and uses too much technical jargon, it would be more helpful if it were in layman’s terms. Aside from that happy with my purchase. I am receiving a free accessory pack from dremel in exchange for my honest review

“I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review. “I’m wondering why I waited so long to get this!I have five dogs and each one is different when getting their nails done but none of them like the clippers. I even have one that tries to bite me!This product makes my life so much easier and makes nail trimming a breeze! I’m a beginner and my dogs are great with it! Easy to use and you may even be able to put yours to sleep while doing it! My Italian Greyhound did!The more I use my Dremel the more confidence I have with taking care of my pets!An excellent product that I highly recommend

We bought this to save the money and stress to our dog that came from regular trips to the groomer. The device is easy to use and our dog tolerates it so much better than at the groomers!

I was able to test this product on my own pet as well as a couple others with varying results. Some pets were ok and the machine performed flawlessly and did a fantastic job on the dogs nails. On some of the other pets the sound of the machine seems to scare them and they wouldn’t co-operate. I have been fortunate to test this items predecessor and I have found both were great items but the sound of the motor seems to scare some pets. I love it but wish the sound could be dampened somehow.

I received my Dremel Pawcontrol yesterday. Charged it up and used it already last night. My Dane was calm with it and it was a breeze to use! I felt a lot more at ease knowing I wasn’t pinching/crushing her nails now. Pedi night was successful. :)“I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel for my honest review.”

Designed for grinding the nail of a dog. Has slow enough speed to do the job and doesn’t frighten my dog.

Solid made easy controls not 5 stars due pet plastic claw attachment has 3 adjustments but only could use one. Other 2 the disc prevents claw attachment from locking into place.

I had my previous Dremel to trim my dog’s nails for about 20 years. Finally, it wouldn’t hold a charge well so I bought a new one. This one is excellent as well for making sure your dog’s nails aren’t cut too short. It softly grinds them to the correct length. I don’t use the plastic attachment because I prefer to just put the stick-in roller attachment on. It works very well and safely.

I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review.Would love to give it a 5 star review but can’t for this reason which has been cited by other reviewers: The instructions say to use position 3 on the plastic cap but you can’t do that or the sanding wheel will rub against the plastic cap. Thankfully one reviewer posted the solution, which is to use position 2 on the plastic cap but to not insert the mandrel all the way down into the collet nut. You may have to finagle with this adjustment until you get the right setting to ensure that you avoid the quick of your pet’s nails while also making sure that the sanding wheel does not rub against the plastic cap. Once I did this, it became a 5 star product. Dremel, why don’t you just add this information to your user manual?!

Because it is so quiet, the difficult dog was somewhat less frightened. Over time she may get better. I love that the grinder collects the dust.

I’ve used many products, but this by FAR is the best. Not only is the 7760 a quality product, but it’s also safe and makes trimming my dogs’ nails a fast process. My dogs are happy and we are happy. I highly recommend this product for all DIY trimmers out there.I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review. That does NOT take away from this being a great product for pet owners.

I have two medium sized dogs and both are jumpy street rescues. The motor is very quiet while running that the pups don’t freak out unlike using other products. My pups have black nails so the pet attachment with safety guard is a major plus. The lightweight and variable speed helps easy maneuvering as well as being highly effective when first learning how to grind their nails as it is a bit of a learning curve.

I was skeptical at first but have to admit this is a much easier way to “trim” toenails. We have 4 dogs 1 of which have black toenails. This kit has turned a stressful chore into a quick, painless event, LOVE IT! Really like the nose cone, it helps contain the nail dust. “I am receiving a free accessory pack from Dremel in exchange for my honest review.”
