I also have the same problem as the rest I put it on the charger and it shows all blue lights like it is completely charged and also little lights by the collett on top flash. But when I take it off and hit the power button the red light flashes and nothing. Sometimes off the charger one blue light will come on with the flashing red light.

I purchased this unit about a 3 weeks ago and have been VERY satisfied with it, This is my second Dremel Rotary tool which was purchased while I was in the military in 1971. It lasted all these years and still works but thought it was time for an up-dated model. The new unit is being used in the construction of a wooden ship model, with lots of detail. That’s the main reason for the purchase of the Model 8050. Light and wireless. Looking forward to a long and happy experience with it.

This is the most recommended dremel on a FB page for dog nail maintenance. It did not disappoint! The light and low volume make this the perfect tool for me. Wish there were a diamond bit offered.
