Awesome tool, but the battery didn’t last long enough, and I couldn’t find any extra batteries to purchase that worked. The ones I did buy 1 didn’t work at all, and the other one lasted about 2 minutes. Original Battery lasted about 1 hour. I returned it and bought the corded one, as I use it a lot.

Third Dremel I’ve purchased over the years, and it is the best one yet. Battery lasts long enough to get the job done and charges fast. The tool itself has met or exceeded my expectations for every task that I’ve thrown at it, from fine-grain sanding of soft wood, to cutting into high-carbon steal with a tungsten-carbide bit.

It works great… it is powerful and the battery lasts a plenty…. best frénele ive bought so far…Only negatives ve is that they specifically designed it so you couldn’t use Bosch 12v batteries even though they are pretty much identical… a modification fixed that and now I can use 3Ah batteries with it and share my bosh batteries with this tool.

I have had my Dremmel for 4 years now. I did get the second battery and I have not had any problems with either one of them. It is one of the first tools I think about using. I have used bunches of different tips and I guess my only gripe is that you can wear them out pretty quickly. I bought one for a friend who uses hers to do small projects and she really likes hers too. Again, 4 years and no issues. I might have expected the batteries to go bad by then. We are using ours right now sanding down an intricate front door to refinish it…
