I haven’t used this type of bit before, but it works really well. It cuts cleanly and smoothly, with little to no wear on the bit. It works really well for what it was built for.Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

This cutter did want I wanted it to do. Itis better to use it with a slower speed so heat doe not burn it and dull it.

From the moment this tool arrived, I knew what I would use it for. I am currently working on personalized engraved cutting boards, and I immediately chucked it into my 3018 PROver CNC machine. It performed flawlessly. The MAX RPM on my machine is 22,000, the MAX RPM on this tool is 35,000 so I knew there wouldn’t be any issues with using this bit in my CNC machine. I highly recommend this bit, whether in my Dremel tool, or in my CNC machine this bit is awesome!Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review

Great bit, I would definely practice on scrap material before jumping into your project if you don’t have experience using this bit. Ask me how I know? Very good carving but aggressive bit. I look forward to trying on several different substraits and trying different techniques. Nice strong bit and I expect it to last a while. I tried to cut a small groove through a piece of wood, but the cut was not as clean as my router. May not be the intended purpose, but I already had my Dremel out and wanted to try this bit. When I get more time, I’ll experiment on other metals in my garage.

I used this bit to cut through some aluminum sheeting for a project I am working on for my home workshop. The trick is to go slow and steady – I was amazed I could cut through the sheet metal with my Dremel. Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

Great bit for tile and metal work in bathroom plumbing installs, metal door frame to door latch adjustments and numerous other similar applications where removal of small amounts of materials can make a job easier.

Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. This bit is very durable. I’ve tested it on wood, marble and steel, and it maintained its sharpness without showing any signs of dulling. If this is the type of cutting bit you use, this would be the best bit you can own. Worth the extra money!

I needed to cut through an 18mm class 8 hex nut that had seized, in order to remove it. This bit cut through it like a warm knife through frozen butter; slow but steady progress. I had the nut removed in about 1.5 hours. It worked great.

This carving bit cut and carved wood dowel, aluminum sheet and PVC plastic well and pretty aggressively. Given the Tungsten Carbide formulation I imagine it will continue to do so for quite a long time given my needs, so its a good investment. I do suggest you cut slowly and not apply too much force, or the bit could grab and kickback, as I was able to demonstrate! Given the spiral design it can also pull out of the collet, so make sure you’ve tightened it well.I generally prefer a carving bit with a tip cutting capability, so this will take some practice. I was surprised how well this bit engraved my tile trivet. I was expecting it to slip and slide on the tile, but it held true. At an angle, it gave me a precision edge to cut the fine details on the trivet. I also, used it to carve a wood shuttle and engrave a copper bracelet. This is a very aggressive little bit. I had some 1/2″ bolts that were cut & the ends were pointy. Used this bit to smooth/round the ends. At first it was tough controlling it but once I got the hang of it everything went well & it did a great job. Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review.

Dremel has provided me this product in exchange for an honest review. The Tungsten Carbide Carving bit is indeed a hard worker and great choice for quick and easy cutting of wood, laminates, plastic Aluminum, brass, stone and yes even ceramic and glass. And will run at 18,000 to 35,000 RPM for different materials.I used it on a wood project under way and tried it on a stone, aluminum and glass waiting to be a projects. It worked well on all. Just remember to not put too much pressure trying to hurry it as it will kickback and could be a problem for you.A Great choice for crafts and hobby’s.

I couldn’t find a tapered carbide bit for my drill or air grinder so I thought I’d give this a try. I used it in my cordless drill and it did an amazing job.
