I bought the 4200 kit today and used the shield for the first time to cut some steel screws and to sand down the edges. The shield worked perfectly and the fact the shield can rotate instead of having to rotate the tool while it is running is brilliant.

I love this shield because even eye protection allows for shards to hit me in the face. My only complaint is why force us to buy accessories many of us do NOT need? Why can’t we just buy the actual shield by itself?

Love the cordless model. I had a hard time deciding between this cordless model and the 4300. The 4300 is touted as having a quieter motor and a larger amperage motor but the cordless model is adequate and not very loud. I used to own a 300i model and it was way louder than this. I love the portability and the battery has plenty of capacity.

I bought this tool a few weeks ago. I had an immediate need to use the cutting wheel that was included. It worked very well cutting rusty nuts and bolts. The cutting wheel was very easy to attach to the mandrel and lasted through the entire job I had for it to do. I liked having the attachments included with the guard. I didn’t have to go and find them in a store or online. The guard was easy to mount on the power head and did a very good job of protecting me from flying particles. A good value for the price I paid.
