This attachment is a MUST if you are cutting metal! Safety glasses alone are not enough to prevent hot sparks from flying into an eye. Very affordable and simple to attach to the tool.

This is great for blocking the metal sparks that fly off when using the Dremel with a metal cutting wheel. You won’t be sorry that you purchased this. It’s best to have all the protection that you can since the Dremel bit is rotating between 5000 and 35000 RPM. I feel safer having this.

The shield was easy to mount and made using wire wheels, grinding wheels and cutters a lot safer. It deflects the little wires and particles away from you so they don’t endanger your eyes or face. Despite having to clean the shield regularly to maintain vision of the process, it is well worth it. Those wires flying off the wheels are like little needles when they hit and can stick in you.
